  • Top 5 holiday destinations for party animals

What with the launch of Falcon’s #NRG in time for another summer of partying down on the sand, sampling the best mojitos at the bar and getting in some quality recovery time by the pool, it’s high time we compiled a list of all our favourite party destinations abroad. So if you fancy making 2014 the year you hit the clubs of Ibiza or check out what’s really going on in Magaluf, read on to find out where you should be tipping your party hat this summer…

    Majorca

    Majorca

Seasoned party animals will know that the Bay of Palma is the place to get your groove on the Mediterranean gem that is Majorca.  While holidaymakers of all kinds migrate to resorts like Magaluf throughout the year, summer is when the fun kicks off along the famous ‘Punta Ballena’ strip, where you’ll find BCM, the island’s biggest nightclub and host to some top-notch DJs from all over the world.

    Tenerife

    Tenerife

The largest Canary Island has a reputation to match when it comes to nightlife, and the good news is that it goes way beyond the major resorts like Playa de las Americas. Of course, you’ll get your fill of karaoke and happening bars here, but those craving a more Latino flavour can opt for a night out in Puerto de la Cruz or capital Santa Cruz, where the DJs of the Noria district keep the dance floors packed until 5am. Or if you’re lucky enough to be on the island during February, the world-famous Tenerife carnival is definitely one to tick off your bucket list!

    Rhodes

    Rhodes

Party animals should make a beeline for Faliraki – the beating heart of the Rhodes party scene. There are some great clubs on the aptly named ‘Club Street’, which play host to a huge variety of club nights, including the Silent Arena, UV parties and foam parties. Then, the next day you can recuperate from the night before and just chill out on the gorgeous four mile stretch of beach that winds around the Greek resort’s coast.

    Zante

    Zante

Harnessing all the gorgeous scenery of the Greek Islands and all the energetic nightlife you could wish for, Zante or Zakynthos is one of Greece’s best-known holiday destinations for the party crowd. With consistent temperatures above 35°C, this Ionian jewel  also boasts dedicated party resorts like Laganas, where the Fishbowl cocktails are as huge as they sound and dancing carries on late into the night. Chill out the next morning with a glass-bottomed boat trip to see the famous Loggerhead turtles, and your holiday will have the perfect balance of fun and relaxation!

    Ibiza

    Ibiza

We couldn’t fail to leave the clubbing capital of Europe off the list of party animal favourites. With its legendary sunsets and even more legendary nightspots, the sunny Balearic Isle has everything laid on for a good time.  As dusk falls, you’ll have your pick of dancing venues from Lola’s in Ibiza Town to the free delights of the Bora Bora Beach Club in Playa d’en Bossa. During the day, the beautiful shores of San Antonio and the original hippy market in Es Cana will provide some much needed downtime before the party starts all over again!

Which of these party capitals comes top of your list? Are there any others we should have included? Have your say in the comments below!
