We decided to pick out some of our favourite restaurants to give you a flavour of the places you might enjoy if you travel to Tenerife for some winter sun with Falcon holidays.
Located in Adeje on the west coast of the island, Monte Cristo serves up incredible creamy pastas, piled-up pizza and succulent beef medallions and Carpaccio. Of course, being an Italian restaurant, you need to make sure you leave room for the great selection of desserts, and for the extensive wine list too. They even make their own peach schnapps! Monte Cristo is an elegant restaurant that you’ll want to dress up for and treat yourself to a special evening.
Anyone who’s anyone in Tenerife goes to Bianco. The beautiful gourmet restaurant is located on the main boardwalk of Playa de las Americas in Tenerife and is a great spot for some afternoon lunch. The stylish Italian restaurant is constantly buzzing thanks to the modern menu and cool surroundings. There’s entertainment on most nights and the staff here are excellent. If you’re looking for food recommendations try the salt baked chicken, or the fresh fillet of swordfish if you fancy something a little different. Or, you could always go all out and go for the 28-day steak followed by one of the dessert specials of the day. Go for the chocolate option, you deserve it!
Well known as the best tapas bar in Los Cristianos this cosy bar has been around for years. At La Costa there are more than 50 tapas dishes to choose from to enjoy alongside the incredible sea view from the terrace. La Costa is a great spot for dinner before checking out the nearby hotspot for nightlife in Tenerife. Try the anchovies in lemon, the spare ribs, patatas bravas, chorizo and the regular monthly specials too. Good portions, a healthy selection, fair prices and the attention to detail from this Dutch owned restaurant keep the tourists and locals coming back for more. There are also gluten free dishes and Wi-Fi, so you can keep the folks at home updated with your jealousy-inducing meal.
You just can’t beat a delicious, rich curry can you? After a day spent exploring the island, the range of dishes at Bombay Babu will hit the spot perfectly. Located in beautiful Adeje the sun terrace here provides the perfect spot for people watching in between courses. The only trouble you’ll have here is deciding between the extensive a la carte menu filled with authentic Indian cuisines.
Patrons here love the homemade mango sauce, the friendly staff and the huge food portions. You can even get take out delivered to your hotel too!
This beautifully decorated restaurant serves up a great variety of Mongolian cuisine. The plush dark wood inside makes for a beautiful setting for dinner, while the large terrace is perfect for al fresco fun. It’s the all you can eat Mongolian buffet that everyone loves here – it’s the perfect way to satiate your hunger following a day exploring all the exciting things to do in Tenerife. After a soup starter you can choose between beef, lamb, venison, chicken and pork, and then a selection of seafood including squid, mussels, sole, king prawn and calamari. The chef will cook your choices right before your eyes on a hot plate and then it’s time to choose your sauce and tuck in! Anyone with a big appetite and a small budget will love it here.
