  • Our top holidays for adventure seekers

If your ideal holiday revolves around adventure then we’ve got some great ideas to keep the explorer in you satisfied. A holiday doesn’t have to be lounging by the pool and going for seconds at the buffet, although that is fun too. At Falcon Holidays we know that some people just can’t sit still and need to know that there’s some fun waiting for them if they need it.

From watersports, to wildlife, to theme parks we’ve chosen three of our most exciting hotels for all you adventure seekers in search of some holiday inspiration.

    Scuba, snorkel and camel rides

    Scuba Diving

Sharm el Sheikh has been a popular choice for adventurers for years. There’s just so much to do in the surrounding waters – including scuba diving, snorkelling and windsurfing too. The Red Sea around Sharm el Sheikh has some of the most interesting and diverse waters anywhere in the world.

The Hyatt Regency, Sharm el Sheikh is a perfect choice whether you’re looking to carry on the adventure in the hotel, or you want to relax and rejuvenate there ready for camel rides, star gazing and ATV driving in the Egyptian deserts. The hotel has tropical gardens, pools and waterfalls in the grounds. Located opposite the famous The Gardens premier diving site you can easily get to your lessons and relax in the knowledge you’re a few metres from home when you get back, and that means just a few minutes from a massage. Children will love the kid’s club here, and the fact the hotel is right on the beachfront too.

Within the hotel you’ll find tennis courts, squash courts, a basketball court, shopping souks, a fully equipped spa and a range of restaurants and bars to choose from.

With all the hotel activities and the potential action on the reef there’s no way you could get bored at the Hyatt Regency in Sharm el Sheikh.

    Cycling, beach life and tennis

    Beach volleyball

There are three pools at the Sol Lanzarote Aparthotel – one for all confidence levels. While the unadventurous laze on the surrounding sun loungers anyone looking for a bit of action can make the most of the tennis courts, the fun Flintstone themed area and the bike hire. If you’re feeling really energetic you can bike into Puerto del Carmen, just 4km away. The Sol Lanzarote Aparthotel is located right on the beach of Matagorda where you can get out on the waves and take some windsurfing lessons, or just pace yourself on one of the sun loungers.

At the hotel there are football pitches and a gym too – perfect for burning off that all-inclusive buffet you’ll be enjoying every day. There’s also a full programme of activities, parties, musicals, evening shows and live music for you to flex your dance moves to!

Theme parks, pools and city life

    Portaventura Park

Just an hour from Barcelona at Hotel Caribe, Portaventura you can enjoy the tropical paradise setting around the lake. There are four pools to choose from here so make sure you pack your inflatables! Adventurers will love the wellness centre, and there’s a whole entertainment venue here too for the evening. Stay at Hotel Caribe and you’re just a few minutes from the Portaventura Park where you’ll get unlimited free entry for the duration of your stay.

Here you’ll find amazing rides and magical entertainment to keep you busy. The epic show featuring water, electricity, fire, pyrotechnics and special effects there will leave you speechless, and even the kids might be quiet for a minute if you’ve bought them along.

Hotel Caribe is a great choice if your holiday party is divided between relaxation and adventure. Stay here and you can do both!
