  • The Ultimate Party Destinations for Your Leaving Cert Holiday 2017

If you’re studying for your Leaving Cert this year, you’ll be going hard at the books while others are out socialising. Dedicated to your studies, you’ll probably have to start skipping some of the activities and TV shows you love. The sustained pressure of studying can get you down, but we’ve got a good way to take your mind off it!

Booking a Leaving Cert holiday gives you something to look forward to after all that hard work. Knowing that you’ll be visiting somewhere sunny after the exam invigilator asks you to stop writing for the last time will inspire you to persevere during this challenging period. You’ll return from your holiday refreshed, revitalised and ready to embark upon the next stage of your academic or vocational life. At Falcon Holidays, we have the three ultimate destinations to inspire you.

    Zante

This Greek Island in the Ionian Sea offers you the chance to relax and let the tensions of the last few months drift into a distant memory, or to be where the action is and smash them into oblivion by dancing into the early hours of the morning. The Laganas resort, located in the south of the island, is particularly popular with young people who want to let their hair down and move to the music, cocktail in hand, in the numerous clubs and bars.

Meanwhile, Alykanas has a more laidback vibe, where you can relax and reflect on the events of the year on the fine sands of the beach. If you don’t want to distance yourself completely from the action this is the perfect location for you, as the bars there run karaoke nights or Greek-themed nights.

    Kos

Situated southwest of Turkey, Kos is another perfect island where you can enjoy your newfound freedom. Just like Zante there are nightclubs and bars if you want to party and be somewhere with a buzz. This island is also built for fun, so you can head out to the waterpark and experience the spills and thrills of the Crazy River and the Space Bowl, or just bob along the Lazy River at a leisurely pace. Alternatively, you can take to the sea and try your hand at some windsurfing or kitesurfing.

Kos invites you to explore. Go riding at sunset for beautiful views across the Kos countryside, or take your horse to the beach and ride along the sands before venturing into the waves.

If wheels rather than hooves are your preferred method of transport, you can arrange a mountain biking excursion or hire a regular pushbike and boost the feel-good factor with some exercise.

    Kavos

Set in the south of the island of Corfu, Kavos is definitely the place for people who like to party. You can hit the dance floor hard in clubs such as Future and Venue. Open until well into the early hours of the morning, there’s certainly no rush to head back to your accommodation.

When you’re not out soaking up the party vibe in the evenings, you can seek thrills with some bungee jumping or jet skiing. If you’re with a group, why not jump on a banana boat ride? It’s a novel way to enjoy the ocean waves.
