  • There’s Still Time to Make Christmas Special with a Visit to Santa in Lapland

Step into Christmas in style with a magical visit to see Santa in Lapland — it’s sure to be one the family will never forget!

Fly direct into Rovaniemi Airport in Finland from Dublin and you and your family can deliver your festive wishes direct to Santa, go on a husky-led sleigh ride and enjoy a guaranteed white Christmas on one of our unique Lapland holidays.

    Lapland day trips

The price of a trip to Lapland could be a lot less than you think, as you simply go and come back on the same day and everything you need is included. We have departures from Dublin on Saturday 5, 12 and 18 December. Make sure you book as soon as possible as availability is limited.

    Prices and what’s included

    Dublin departures:

    Adults: from €639 per person

    Children: from €539 per person.

Your Santa’s Secret Grotto day trip has been carefully planned by Santa and his elves to make sure the whole family gets caught up in the festive spirit. All of your flights, airport taxes, transfers, guides, visits to Santa and outdoor activities like sledging and snowmobiling are included.

As for food, you’ll get in-flight meals in both directions and lunch in SantaPark. You might want to bring some money for extra tea, coffee, soft drinks and other snacks from Mrs Claus’ Bakery, and there are plenty of souvenirs to buy from Santa’s gift shop. There’s a cashpoint in Lapland if you need, so no need to worry about how much to bring.

All of your thermal wear is included in our winter wonderland too; just bring your normal warm day clothes to wear underneath and you’ll be toasty and warm.

Why a Lapland trip is special

    Reindeers in Lapland

Seeing Santa in his grotto in Lapland is an experience you and your family will never forget, although we’ll provide you with a souvenir photo with Santa to remind you!

Imagine the children’s faces when they visit the Ice Princess – it’ll be like something out of Narnia when you see all her incredible ice sculptures. Any thirsty adults can buy a refreshing alcoholic drink at the Ice Princess’s Ice Bar and Gallery – step outside and you might even see the Northern Lights!

And if that image isn’t enough to make you want to book your Lapland trip right away how about the thought that you’ll get to take a train ride through the elves’ workshop to see all the toys being made there and then.

    An average day in Lapland

    Sleigh rides in lapland

The day starts with an early morning flight where the kids can get creative with their colouring packs and Santa hats. The whole plane is invited to join in with the carol singing after the hearty breakfast and before you know it you’ll have arrived in Lapland.

The elves will meet you off the plane and bring you to the magical winter wonderland in Santa Park to get the day started. Enjoy a sleigh ride and be pulled along by huskies past the beautiful snow-clad forests and landscapes, or you could ride a reindeer. The more adventurous can even try snowmobiling.

You’ll enjoy an action packed day filled with meeting Santa, exploring the Park, listening to stories of the Arctic Circle crossing ceremony told by Old Man Reindeer and graduating from Elf School with a Diploma.

At the end of the day the elves will take you back to the airport and your flight home will be filled with the memories of a brilliant day, and the excitement of telling all your friends about meeting the ‘real’ Santa!

So book your trip to Lapland with Falcon. It’s where the magic is!
