  • Best Water Parks in Dubai You’ll Want to Visit

Dubai has a wealth of activities and attractions catered to families. Its water parks are especially popular, offering up plenty of thrills and excitement for all ages. There are a lot of them to choose from, and each offers something a little different. So, how can you choose the best one to visit on your stay?

Here, we’ll reveal some of our favourite water parks in Dubai you’ll want to visit.

    Wild Wadi

The Wild Wadi waterpark was the first to open in Dubai. Situated right next to the Jumeirah Beach, the park opened back in 1999 and it features a great Arabian theme.

There are countless water slides, a fun wave pool and artificial surfing machines to test your abilities. One of the park’s main features is its huge 18 metre waterfall which automatically turns on every 10 minutes. Once you’ve finished at this fun waterpark, you can spend a lazy afternoon on the beach.

    Yas Waterworld

Opened in 2013, Yas Waterworld has become one of the best water parks on the globe. It was the first park to introduce a hydro-magnetic tornado waterslide. The park regularly draws in thousands of visitors, including A-list celebrities.

It’s situated in Abu Dhabi, and it’s described as being well-suited to families with young children. Compared to other waterparks in the area, this park is also known to be one of the cheapest.

    Aquaventure Water Park Dubai

Set over 46 acres, the Aquaventure Water Park Dubai is an ideal choice for thrill seekers. It is home to the longest water slide in the world, the Aquaconda, and it throws in a few extra thrills such as a shark filled lagoon and zip lines. It has some of the most adrenaline-pumping rides in the whole of Dubai, and it’s open 365 days a year.

There is so much on offer at this great waterpark. The Aquaventure Marine Animal Adventure gives you an insight into beautiful marine life. It’s also close to the Lost Chambers Aquarium and there’s a great Aquaventure beach. The only potential downside is that the park can get extremely busy. So, expect lots of queues, especially if you’re visiting during peak season.

    LEGOLAND Water Park

When it comes to family friendly water parks, LEGOLAND is definitely one of the best. It features elements from LEGO toys and the LEGO movie, and there’s also the LEGOLAND theme park onsite too. So, you’ll get a great 2-in-1 attraction.

You can build your own raft out of LEGO blocks, before taking it for a test ride on the LEGO river. There are more than 40 rides available, as well as great innovative play areas. There’s a great range of both indoor and outdoor rides, making the park ideal to visit at any time of year. It’s worth noting that this park is largely designed with younger kids in mind. So, if you have teenagers, they may not enjoy this park as much as some of the others on the list.

    Laguna Waterpark

The Laguna Waterpark is one of the newest in Dubai. It’s situated on the beach, in the centre of La Mer. There are four unique zones to explore including Splash, Surf, Slides and Relax zones. A few of the most notable rides include Free Fall, Loop and the 180-degree surf simulator, the WaveOz.

Due to its convenient location, the park can get quite busy. This is definitely something to consider, especially if you’re travelling during peak season.

The above are just some of our favourite water parks in Dubai. Whichever part of the city you’re heading to, there’s a waterpark within easy reach. Browse our United Arab Emirates holidays today.
