  • Essential Guide to Ibiza Clubs

Ibiza is one of the most popular island getaways, renowned for its unbeatable clubbing scene. If you’re looking to enjoy all that the island has to offer in terms of nightlife, there are a few clubs which really stand out from the rest.

The sheer number of clubs and bars you can choose from here can be a little overwhelming. So, to help narrow down your itinerary, let’s take a look at some of the most popular Ibiza clubs you won’t want to miss.

    Ocean Beach Club Ibiza

The Ocean Beach Club Ibiza, or O Beach as it’s commonly known, is one of the best loved clubs on the island. This daytime club situated in the San Antonio region boasts a luxurious atmosphere. Experience stunning views over the Mediterranean as you party the day away, then watch the magical Balearic sunsets in the evenings.

From its sunset roof garden to its opulent VIP area, you’re sure to have the ultimate clubbing experience here.

Out of all of the Ibiza clubs on offer, Amnesia is by far one of the most popular. Located right in the heart of the island, the club is separated into two areas. Experience the dark, cavernous atmosphere of the Club Room. Or, head to the Terrace where you’ll want to look out for the ice cannons.

    Amnesia, Ibiza

The club frequently plays the best in techno, Latin, house and bass music. You’ll also get to witness the odd live show here too. Being one of the most popular clubs on the island, it does get pretty busy. However, there are areas available where you can get away from the crowded dance floors.

    Benimussa Park

The open air Benimussa Park is also commonly referred to as The Zoo. Situated just outside of San Antonio, this unique venue was initially designed to be a zoo. However, it was replaced by this popular nightclub, offering great al fresco partying and top electronic music.

Throughout the year, you’ll find the club offers a varied range of festivals and events. It’s especially well-known for its animal body paint and fancy-dress themes. As it’s set in the open air, you’ll never have to worry about getting too hot as you dance the days away.

Close to the Ibiza Town Marina, Pacha is another iconic Ibiza club. It started out back in 1973, and today it’s known as one of the best clubs on the island. You’ll be treated to music from some of the world’s best DJ’s.

    Pacha, Ibiza

Its VIP scene is particularly renowned, and it isn’t uncommon to find the rich and famous living it up in this club. The music here has everything from old school classics to current electronic music.

Located near to San Rafael, Privilege is said to be the largest club in the world. Its main room is around the size of an aircraft hangar, and could easily fit all of the clubs on the island neatly inside. It’s one of the grandest clubs available and you’ll find lots of areas to explore here.

Their Vista Club space, surrounded by glass, is great for techno and house music lovers. It frequently hosts unforgettable raves. A visit to Privilege will give you a new perspective on the clubbing experience.

    When do the clubs open?

The above are just a small selection of the clubs available in Ibiza. You’ll find that they start to open for the season during May each year. Entrance costs vary from €10 to €50 depending upon which club you’re heading to.

If you’re planning on checking out any of these popular clubs, it’s also recommended you buy tickets in advance. These can get snapped up pretty quickly, so it’s always worth getting your tickets when you book your holiday if you can.
