Amazing! Had a fabulous time here with my friends. My first time to DR but had heard so much about the beach and it was just as good as everyone says. This hotel is not the biggest or best in the resort but have to say we loved it! Friendliest staff ever and rooms were gorgeous. The rooftop pool with views was our favorite spot to chill with something alcoholic! And we used the beach a lot too. Wish we’d been there longer!

I stayed at this hotel from November 3 to the 17th. My stay was all included except for one restaurant a la carte where you had to pay. I did not eat at this location. The ONLY place where you have air condition in this hotel is your room. All restaurant are open concept. Check in was a little slow. Very small resort situated in the city. My room was number 2210 facing the garden. Overall it was quiet except for two night where idiots drunk men started yelling in the middle of the night. I had to go get security guards to have peace. I don't understand why security did not come on their own as this happen very close to the lobby which have a security 24-7 Restaurants On the premises you have a buffet style restaurant where it seems to be always the same food. Almost all food is served in cooking pots. Not very appealing....( One morning after seeing the person who was making eggs with the same DIRTY uniform after 4 days I told the reception desk that it was time for this person to change his clothing. It made me sick just to look at him. What is wrong with people don't you see when you are filthy. The head chef of food are you blind..... this is your employee. At the restaurant a la carte included in my stay you had 5 choices of food. Overall it was ok. What made dinner enjoyable was the service given to us by Eilin Reyes , Radamame , Ariel , Nicaury , Iluminada and Ruth. Thank you to all of you for the joy and smiles you gave us during our stay. Whala Bavaro you are lucky to have these people as employees. Snack bar by the beach Very basic food. Burgers , hot dogs , pizza and fries. For the sake of god how can an employee serve COLD fries is something that I cannot understand. Hello wake up When ordering food at this location I always told Danny that I wanted hot food which he provided to me. Beach is very small with only 150 chairs. I was lucky that while I was there on vacation the hotel was not full and to me it felt crowded. I cant imagine when the hotel is full what it would look like. By 3 o'clock in the afternoon you have no more sun on the hotel beach. On the roof top of the building by the beach there is an infinity pool. You cannot bring any drinks up there. You will need to pay for all of your consumption while up there. On both side of the hotel beach you can walk for miles. Every evening by the main pool you have entertainment with music and games. A lot of Russian music is played there as this hotel caters to mostly Russians. I was told 60 to 70 percent of their clientele is from Russia. I was told the beer they serve is Corona on tap. I do not like it and brought my own that I was buying from a grocery store just up the street. You can buy beer from two location on the resort but very expensive. They sell President beer a for $4.00 US and you can buy that just minutes away for $1.00 . When facing the street at the reception you need to walk 4 minutes to the left and you will find little shops. One place that I went everyday to buy wine and beer is a five minute walk. There is a little bar in front. Look for it as it is very clean with great selection of every thing you need. Overall we enjoyed our vacation at this location. We paid $1,400.00 Canadian for 14 days all included. I would not pay more than that. If you enjoy being in the city and by the beach and you are not to demanding then this is a good location. Like I wrote you are in the city so therefor you have bars and restaurants to go to within minutes from the hotel.
