I'm flying with Emirates, how do I manage my booking?

Check-in

Emirates’ online check-in opens 48 hours before your flight departs.

You can check in, add advanced passenger information and download or print your boarding passes for all your flights directly from the Emirates website.

You’ll need to enter your Emirates booking reference – this is your six-character alpha-numeric TUI flight reference number, not your TUI booking reference – and surname[s].

Your flight reference number can be found on your booking confirmation email, on your e-ticket, on Manage Your Booking on the TUI website, or on the TUI app.

If you’re unable to check in online, you can check in at the Emirates kiosks at the airport. We recommend checking in three hours before your flight, because this must be completed before the bag drop closing time.

Seating

Seats can be selected once you have purchased your ticket, usually around 35 days before your departure date through Manage Your Booking on the Emirates website.

Emirates do sometimes charge a fee for choosing a seat however, you will be allocated a seat for free at check-in if you would prefer not to pay.

Please contact us on 0203 451 2688 if you wish to upgrade your seat

Baggage

Your baggage allowance will be shown as you go through the booking process or on your customer documents sent to you after booking. Bookings with hold baggage included will also include hand baggage.

To find out more about your Emirates hold baggage allowance and dimensions, visit their checked baggage page.

To find out more about your Emirates hand baggage allowance and dimensions, visit their cabin baggage rules page.

For more information on special baggage allowances, visit their unusual baggage and special allowances page.

Extra bags, extra weight, special items, or a larger hand baggage allowance can all be purchased through the  Manage my Bookings section on the Emirates website.

Meals and trip extras

Emirates offer a range of meals and snacks. You can find their sample menus online on their economy class dining page.

Check out the information about children’s meals. These can be booked through Manage my Booking on the Emirates website.

If you have special dietary requirements, you can order a special meal up to 48 hours before your flight through Manage your booking. You can also find details about Emirates special meals on their dietary requirements page.

Food allergies

Emirates serve gluten‑friendly and low‑lactose meals, as well as meals to suit other medical conditions.

Emirates can’t guarantee their meals are nut free. They serve nuts on all their flights, either as a meal ingredient or as an accompaniment to drinks. Other passengers may also bring food on board that contains nuts, and traces of nut residue could be passed on to other surfaces of the aircraft as well as through the air conditioning system.

If you have a nut allergy, we recommend discussing your travel plans with your doctor before you fly and please contact your local Emirates office(opens in the same window).

Travelling with children

For more information about travelling with children on Emirates, visit their travelling with children page. Here, you can find out more about child baggage allowances, family seating and children’s meals, as well as lots of other useful info to help you prepare for your flight.

Assisted Travel

For more information about Emirates special assistance, visit their travel health page. Here, you can find information about wheelchair dimensions, mobility assistance, travelling with hearing or visual impairments and travelling with service dogs.
