Flying with Ryanair

How do I add a passenger to my booking?

If your package includes flights with Ryanair, you will have confirmed your flights directly with the airline at the point of booking. Adding an additional passenger requires an amendment to those flights, which changes your TUI holiday. Regrettably, TUI cannot confirm new flights on your behalf, as the airline requires that customers do this directly. Making that change also breaks the TUI package protection which we provide for peace of mind with every booking.

Should you be flying with Ryanair and wish to add a passenger, you have two options.

1.Cancel the package you originally booked with us and rebook for the full party. We will refund you the full amount including the cost of your flights. Please note, it can take up to 14 days for the money to reach your account. From there, you can rebook the package online adding the person to ensure your full party benefit from our package protection.

2.Create a separate booking for the additional passenger, with a unique booking reference. Please note, a separate booking will need to be created by the new passenger, as you cannot be the “Lead passenger” for a booking you aren’t a part of. This option is not suitable if the additional passenger you are booking is for a child, unless another adult is booked as well.

Alternatively, we can support you in finding new flights with an alternative airline, which we can book and manage on your behalf.

Please be aware, if you book flights for the additional passenger directly with Ryanair, we cannot guarantee availability with the accommodation or provide that passenger with the package protection that the rest of the party will have.
