Can I book my baby into the creche before I get there?

You can pre-pay for creche sessions before you go on holiday, but you'll need to book the actual times with the Childcare team when you get to your hotel. This is to make sure there's a suitable amount of children at each session.

Can I carry baby milk or baby food in my hand luggage?

Yes, you can carry liquid baby foods or baby milk that's either pre-packaged or made up at home. You can also carry foods for special dietary requirements as long as it's essential for the flight or holiday. Solid baby food can also be carried in either your hand or hold luggage.

Please give any food or baby milk to staff when you go through airport security, as it'll be screened separately.

Powder Formula
There are no restrictions on taking powder formula, you can carry your baby milk powder to be mixed up during your holiday as part of your luggage allowance. This may also be tested at airport security.

Can I take a pushchair and a car seat on my flight?

We carry pushchairs as hold luggage for free on TUI flights. You can usually take the pushchair to the boarding gate before handing it to a member of staff to put into the hold. Ask us to confirm this when you get to the check-in desk. If you're travelling on a package holiday with us, in addition to carrying a pushchair, infants under 2 years old will get a hold baggage allowance of 10kg. Any prams or pushchairs need to be completely fold down/collapsible.

Flights with other airlines;

Most other airlines will also carry pushchairs free of charge and you can usually take them to the boarding gate. It's worth checking with the airline before you travel.

Some airlines also offer extra hold luggage for under 2s - you'll find details on your e-ticket/confirmation email.

Can I take baby toys on my flight?

Yes, this is encouraged as long as they are within the weight and dimension restrictions for hand luggage and adhere to the dangerous and prohibited articles restrictions listed in our luggage guidelines.

Can I use my pushchair in the airport?

You can take your pushchair or buggy through security, right up until you get on the plane and its put into the luggage hold for you. You won't usually get access to the buggy again until you get to the baggage reclaim area at the other end.
