Are children allowed to stay in a Marella Cruises cabin without adults?

If you're traveling as a family, it's a great idea to book cabins next to or opposite one another. If you have cabins next to or opposite each other, then children aged 13 or under will need to be accompanied by an adult. For separate cabins, under 18's must be accompanied and for anyone traveling on a USA itinerary under 21's must be accompanied.

Are there crèche facilities onboard our Marella Cruises ships?

There are no creche facilities or babysitting services onboard our ships. The M Club, the onboard Kid's Club, is for 3 to 12 year-olds.

Are there set dining times on any of the Marella Cruises ships?

All our ships' restaurants offer open dining, except for our Speciality restaurants, where we recommend you make a reservation.

You can make a reservation as soon as you get onboard through the Navigate App, either on one of the onboard kiosks or bookings can be made prior to travel on Marella Cruise Control.

Are tips and gratuities included onboard a Marella Cruise?

All tips and service charges are included in the price of your Cruise. You're not expected to tip any of our crew - unless you want to, of course.

Can customers bring their own alcohol onboard a Marella Cruise ship?

On your flight and once onboard our ships, you can only drink the alcohol that staff serve you. During embarkation, we have the right to search luggage and hold any alcohol that we believe has not been purchased on your flight - please retain your proof of purchase. Any alcohol that is not permitted onboard will be returned to you on your departure.

Can I bring a loved one’s ashes onboard a Marella Cruise ship to be scattered?

Ashes can be scattered in international waters – that’s 12 miles out to sea from any port – and we’re happy to help in any way we can. Please contact us with your booking details before you travel to make the arrangements. You’ll need to let the airline you’re travelling with know, too.

Once you arrive onboard, you’ll be invited to meet with the Guest Experience Coordinator who’ll help you make arrangements for the scattering.

Can I take a Brompton bike onboard a Marella Cruise for use ashore?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to bring your own bike onboard. On most of our itineraries we have bike excursions available where you will be able to explore the local area with an expert guide.

Does Marella Cruises offer a loyalty scheme?

We like to offer our customers an individual and personalised service, which is why we don't have a standardised loyalty club. Instead, we prefer to provide thoughtful gestures to our returning customers who book with us as a 'little thank you' for travelling with us again.

We also put our most loyal customers on an email mailing list so they hear about our new itineraries before they go on general sale, plus exclusive discounts and offers.

Do you cater for infants on a Marella Cruise?

The kitchen can provide milk warming, but we don't stock baby foods onboard.

Do you offer a babysitting service onboard Marella Cruises?

Our ships don't have babysitters onboard.

If I register my credit card on my Marella Cruise, will I get charged interest?

Settling your onboard account by credit card is the same as putting a card behind the bar in the UK. It's swiped so that we can take payment at a later date. You'll only incur interest on your credit card once a payment has been taken according to the terms and conditions of your bank.

Is there a charge for using a credit card onboard a Marella Cruise?

There are no additional charges if you pay by Credit or Debit Card.

What's the age range for the Kids' Club onboard our Marella Cruise?

The M Club, our onboard Kids' Club, is for children aged 3 to 12 years, with sessions split by age group during high season.

What's the dress code for the dress to impress night on our Marella Cruise?

We've replaced the formal night with a more casual dress to impress night. This is still a chance to get dressed up, but how dressy you go is up to you.

All our cabins have both American 110 volts and European 220 volts sockets.

What are the Kids' Club hours onboard our Marella Cruise?

What does GAYP mean and what does it include?

Go As You Please - this is a Cruise and Stay/Stay and Cruise package where the accommodation is booked independently. Please note, transfers are only included from airport to ship or from ship to airport.

What evening is the dress to impress night on?

We have one dress to impress night a week on our cruises. It usually takes place on the evening of the day at sea.

On all of our ships we've replaced the formal night with a more casual dress to impress nights, it's still a great chance to get dressed up, but how dressy you go is completely up to you.
