This place is in a quiet spot right across from the beach. There’s a pool here, and Elounda is nearby.
This place has a great spot near the beach. And each of the rooms has a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool. Even though it’s self-catered, the barbecue night brings everyone together.
Just over the road is a sand-and-shingle beach. And it’s about 10 minutes’ walk to Elounda’s main square, where there are lots of bars, tavernas and authentic Greek cafés.

Found our Jewel at last
We have been visiting Elounda and the surrounding area for the last 17 years, often seen the Manos Apartments' but never stayed there until this year. We had a week at the Manos from 19th September 2017 to the 26th, we were in room 13, what a fantastic week, weather good, food in the bar second to none, and the restaurants near by excellent value for money. one tip we listened to other visitors and booked a taxi from the airport, 75 euros took less than an hour Where the bus was 3 hours. Manos staff could not do enough for you, rooms were cleaned everyday, and Hercules in the bar at night could not fault him. Thank you manos and we will see you next year.More
Our own piece of Elounda
We have been several times and are never disappointed. Larriane makes everybody very welcome and nothing is to much trouble. Larraine and Aspacia kept our rooms clean and tidy working very hard in the heat. Nectaria and Maria made wonderful food for us during the day at the pool bar. Nothing to much trouble for them either. Hercules in the evening at the bar full of information and always happy to chat. Also makes very good cocktails. Manos has everything we need especially the warm and friendly welcome which continues throughout your stay. . Beach across the road. Short walk into town all tavernas are reasonably priced and food excellent. I f you turn left out of Manos there are other tavernas. Despina and Cantuni being two of our favourites. Everyone in Elounda is friendly and it is a very relaxed place. We would recommend the VIP suite at Heraklion airport if you are able to afford it. Takes all the stress out of the airport wait. Please try Manos you will not be disappointed. We have booked for 2018 already and counting down the days.More
Elounda's Little Jewel
A two week stay at the Manos Apartments, what more could you ask for? A spotless complex with immaculate accommodation, our room was cleaned regularly, even if it didn't need to be! Great service. The beds were extremely comfortable and although we didn't use it, the kitchenette had all that you needed, plus there is also a travelling hairdryer in each room. All the staff were fantastic, Larraine, the Hotel Manager, makes sure you have just what you need and always asks if you are enjoying yourselves. The two ladies, Nectaria and Maria, who run the daytime bar are absolutely brilliant, friendly, funny, always aiming to please and also extremely knowledgable about where to go and what to see. The bar at night is run by Hercules, a real good barman and entertainer who also goes out of his way for you. I asked for a "Limoncello" one night which he didn't have, when I went to the bar the next night there was a bottle waiting! Thank you Hercules. All in all we had an absolutely amazing holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "The Manos" which we would recommend to anyone. More
As always a wonderful time
We have been coming here for many years, sometimes twice a year and have always been very well looked after. I must take issue with SK's review however. Was there any need to be so abusive towards the ladies in the Bar? They work incredibly hard in high temperatures cooking simply delicious food and I have always found them smiling. Shame on you SK - if you were unhappy with the service you could have made you point in a more well- mannered way. The bottom line is we have had a real laugh about it since. Lovely relaxing holiday with great people and excellent service, as ever. Thank you all.More

We have just returned home from a week in the Manos Apartments and have had a really fantastic time. We were lucky in that we had been given some advice before hand and having met up with family members at the airport we caught a taxi to the Apartments as it is a long journey and the Manos is the last stop. I was really glad that we did this, however, we caught the coach on the way back and it was no problem going back. The apartment we were given was lovely, I don’t think that they are that basic, everything has been provided for you and we were very happy, even down to the little things like the fresh towels being placed on the bed in a shape with a fresh flower, a really thoughtful lovely touch. The staff work tirelessly on behalf of their customers and a special thanks to all of them for making our visit very special, down to Larraine (the manager) and her assistant looking after the apartments daily, to Maria and Nektaria who during the day looked after everyone’s needs at the bar, they never stopped and to be fair to them I don’t know how they managed! We had a heatwave the week we were there, in the high 30’s and each and every day they worked in the bar cooking and serving always with a smile on their face! And finally, Iracules who in the evening took over and served the drinks at the bar. Each and everyone of the staff at the Mano Apartments deserve a special mention, as nothing was ever a problem for them they were very friendly and worked extremely hard in my view to make sure that everyone had a good experience of the Manos Apartments, Elounda and Crete. We went to Spinalonga and we were very glad that we went, we didn’t take the Thomson trip, but took a boat from the local port in Elounda which worked out cheaper than going with Thomson, make sure you take water with you as there is a little cafe on the island, and they charged me nearly 5 euro’s for a can of Diet Coke! The island was worth the visit with a very sad story, if you get the chance to read ‘The Island’ by Victoria Hislop before you go, it will give you an insight to the island and the area and well worth the read. A trip on the local bus to Ayios Nikolais - 7 euros for a return trip for 2 was well worth the visit. There is a natural lake in the centre of (Ag Nick) which was and is beautiful. Plenty of shopping is to be had here, but I did find it on the expensive side, but then as everywhere else it is based on tourism. The views on the bus looking back to Elounda were spectacular you could make out the causeway and Spinalonga. Elounda itself is lovely, there is everything you need on the doorstop, fantastic bakeries, the butchers, a local market on Fridays, a few supermarkets where you can get everything you need. There are plenty of places to eat in the evening ranging from authentic Greek Gyros to high end cuisine. There is a little beach just outside the Manos Apartments, where if you get up early enough (it is worth the effort) you can watch the sunrise which is spectacular, and during the day we went between the pool and sea where we did a bit of snorkelling where we could see, sea anemones, clams and various varieties of fish in their natural environment. We were very lucky that we met up with family, who go every year and have an excellent knowledge of the area. They always stay at the Manos Apartments, I now know why! We made some amazing friends, who also return each year because they enjoy themselves so much, an excellent destination which I highly recommend!More
