These apartments have a beach on the doorstep and plenty of evening entertainment.
These family-run, self-catering apartments have 2 outdoor swimming pools, right next to Rethymnon’s sandy beach. There’s a nice lounge bar, which hosts some great entertainment – like regular Greek nights.
In terms of location, the complex is in the heart of Adelianos Kampos, just a quick walk from the beach. Lively Rethymnon is a 10-minute drive away.

After a enthusiastic welcome by the owners we were offered a complimentary drink, which was much appreciated after completing a long journey. we were then taken to reception and given the keys to our apartments, which were located on the top floor which had fine views, but this was not suitable for me due to my short legs and even shorter breath. We were then offered an apartment down at the lowest level, which at first was not very welcoming, we were soon to find the benefits of the shade it offered and the quietness.. The Christina's Staff and facilities gave us great pleasure during our fortnights stay. The resort of Platianos Kambos served all our needs with good restraunts excursions and a frequent bus service to Rythymnon.More
the area was excellent, very good tavernas and bars nearby, weather was brilliant, bus service was excellent.
the appartments from outside look very impressive, very clean around the pool and reception/bar area. however that is where the cleanliness ended. we arrived Friday afternoon and the 1st time the bin at the side of the toilet was emptied was Monday!, we had to ask for more toilet roll. it stated in the information book in the room that towels and bedding got changed once a week - we had to actually request this be done on the Wednesday!!! this consisted of them emptying the bins again changing the towels and leaving a fresh sheet on the top of the bed - the beds do not get made up for you you have to do that yourself on arrival and if you are lucky enough to get a clean sheet during your stay. we have stayed in various properties throughout Greece and some have even been 2 star in the past and have to say the cleanliness in all of them has beaten this place hands down. would never go back to Christina appartments but only because I think it should be upping its game in the cleaning dept.More
We stayed for a week earlier this month. The apartments are centrally located, close to the beach, restaurants, supermarket and a bus stop. We had a room overlooking the pool. As mentioned it does overlook a busy road but we expected this and it didn't disturb us at night with the balcony doors closed and air con on. The room was equipped with toaster, kettle, microwave and 2 ring hob. We only did drinks and toast and there was enough cutlery, crockery, mugs and glasses. The rooms are a bit dated but acceptable. The bathroom was nice and clean including sparkling drains! The rooms were ok but a bit dusty, hair in drawers, under beds etc. The wardrobe had 3 spare pillows, unfortunately these didn't have covers on and they were heavily saliva stained which put me off. I had to work hard not to think about what was under my head. I appreciate many hotel pillows may look like this, I just don't look but this was a bit in my face. Cleaning was not evident. The apartments say your room will be cleaned twice a week and linen changed once a week. The first 2 days no one came in, the 3rd day the bins were emptied and a new loo roll left but no cleaning. The 4th day they did change the bed linen, exchange towels empty bins but to be honest the bathroom wasn't cleaned and the floors not swept. No one came in on the 5th or 6th days. I don't particularly want to clean on my holiday but if there had been a dust pan and brush and spare bin bags with a refuse room available I would have just got on with it. We didn't complain to the hotel as we were only there for a week and aren't particularly untidy we just took the view to get on with it. There is a daily charge for air con which is switched on from 6pm to 9am, this was fine for us but for an additional daily charge I understand it could be on 24hrs. There is a safe box in the room which can be used for a small weekly charge. This is key locked which is a bit of a pain if you're off to the beach or out for the day as the key ring states what hotel and room number. To be fair we've had this at other small hotels, they're just not as practical as a pin code safe, you can take the key ring off. We also took our room key most days as the reception area was often unmanned, we would have found it preferable for keys to be kept behind the bar which was staffed throughout the day. We didn't use the pool as we like the beach but there seemed ample sun beds around. At the beach the sun beds we used were €5 for 2 beds and an umbrella, the sea is rocky but accessible with beach shoes which you can buy in resort. The Christina Greek night was good, ample food and lots of choices of side salads etc and a small glass of wine included in the price. The Greek entertainers did their best to get everyone involved. We enjoyed our weeks holiday, the friendliness of staff and the location are the plus points of these apartments, a bit of a shake up of the cleaning team or making these self service apartments would be areas of improvement. Nice size Studio, reasonably well equipped if you want to cook. We only did tea and toast as there are lots of great Tavernas close at hand. Beds comfortable. Pool area very clean and there seem to be plenty of free sun beds. Good breakfast available. Close to nice sandy beach but watch out for the stones in the water, water shoes needed. Sun beds on the beach at 6 euros for 2. Safe available at reasonable rate but the air conditioning is 9 euros for 24hrs, factor this in to your stay as you will probably need it. We had a rear Studio ground floor with balcony and with a view of a bit of overgrown shrubbery and the wall of another building. I didn't think I would mind as you don't spend long in the room but I did miss being able to sit with a glass of wine and a nice view. The front apartments overlook the pool which is ok but also the road. The road can be busy until the early hours so if a light sleeper may not be for you. Quite a few steps even if you have a ground floor room and there is no lift for the upper floors. Very friendly place and we found helpful staff. Take plenty of mosquito spray, my friend got so badly bitten we had to go to the medical centre. Drinks were expensive on site, go to one of the tavernas. Lots of lovely places to eat, try The White Lady, and there is a great bakery for coffee and lunch just a few minutes away. Also plenty of travel bureaus where you can book trips cheaply.More
