Where do I start! The staff, they worked tirelessly and in my book they can make your holiday. The food, fantastic, the choice, the quality, could have been a bitter hotter at times but all in all it really was some of the best food I have ever eaten from a hotel. The location, beautiful, waking up every morning and seeing those views put my wife and I in that relaxed mood day in day out, even being able to see Albania in the distance was special. The Hotel itself, not the best looking I have ever seen but definitely the cleanest, the layout was very good also, one idea I think they could do with is a shower for guests that can't get a room to clean up in when their flight home is late in the day, they do try to accommodate you as they did with us but we were too late in asking for a room to shower in, it clashed with having our dinner before we left. I did visit Zante a few years ago and didn't like the idea of putting your toilet paper into a bin but having had our flight cancelled to Thailand for our holiday we chose this Holiday and am I glad we did, we had never been on an all inclusive before, great for us but I think for families the wrong foods are on tap and very tempting plus the kids tend to take too much and there is such a lot of waste. We had a couple of issues, one being the wasps, hundreds of them, there should be perimeter traps rather than just at the bar by the drinks you are getting, entertainment could be better. We would definitely return to Corfu but at an adult only, the thing is it only takes one screaming brat to ruin your day, one other thing, the day trip to Albania, don't book it at the hotel through Thomson, it's a rip off, 64 euros plus 10 more at the port, try if you can and book it yourself, that way you don't have to be put through an hour and a half of a guide at the ruins and the rubbish dinner that they provide. So to sum it up, I have given it 5 stars because mainly of the Hotel, staff, food and views, my wife and I had a great time and will remember it for the good things and not the bad, well done to all at Tui Family Life Kerkyra.More
Excellent family holiday
Great location, short transfer, fab views from hotel grounds right into sea and across to the mountains. Spotless clean everywhere. Brilliant facilities for children. Kids club staff extremely friendly and our 3 yr old loved going to the shows at night. I wasn't expecting such good food, exceeded our expectations. All restaurants are good quality food. Main restaurant as expected is buffet service. If you want table service try the Asian or Greek restaurant. Greek was our favourite. Short bus ride into lovely corfu town. Very spacious grounds mean you can be nowhere near anyone else and very relaxing. Weather end of sept was very good. Would recommend. Only downside is if it's important to you to have branded alcohol then you will be disappointed. It didn't bother us. More

Fabulous location but lacking in some areas
We stayed as a couple for one week following a cruise. The hotel is quite close to the port so transfer time was good. Like some other reviewers, we did know it was a Family Life hotel but also like some other reviewers, we didn't expect so many children. We always holiday in September and there are usually a few children but this hotel was full of them. The noise in the restaurant was so bad that you needed ear defenders. There is an adult only area which has a screen separating it from the rest of the restaurant but this is extremely small and the noise is still there. The room: large with a large bathroom and a fabulous sea view (at an extra cost). The view was probably the best view we have ever had, it was stunning. We couldn't get the air conditioning or the heater (which we needed one night) to work so just left it off all week. The shower in the bathroom was like a dripping tap but it wasn't too much of a problem as we had baths all week. The outside areas of the hotel are vast with plenty of room to lounge without being too close to others. The beach isn't really a beach, just a strip but again, I have to say that the location is stunning. Food: tasty and plentiful but we have had much better food in other 4 star hotels. There were a lot of pies and stew type dishes but no prawns or seafood dishes. The Asian restaurant was nice with lovely service but it is not a la carte and the same applies to the Greek restaurant. Staff: all of the staff we encountered were lovely apart from two members of staff: one young man in the dining room who had a blazing argument with one of the waitresses in front of us and another waiter in the bar who could really do with some customer service training. If you go you will be able to tell who he is by the frown lines on his brow!!! Drinks: not good at all. We had to try different drinks as our usual drinks tasted awful. Again, and I am sorry for repeating myself, we have had much better drinks in other 4 star hotels. In fact we have had much better drinks in 3 star hotels!!!! So evenings sitting in noise with no entertainment and awful drinks were not 'holiday pleasant'. Entertainment: DIRE!!! There wasn't any entertainment! On one night there was an Il Divo act and they were good but that was it! I know it is geared towards the children but children have parents/grandparents too!!! We arrived on 6 October and the first night we were there, the weather was bad. Everyone was crammed into the bar area and you cannot imagine the noise. The rest of the week (apart from the Il Divo act) the entertainment was outside. The weather during the day was great but at night it was cold! If you go to this hotel in September/October take an anorak!! Getting out and about: Good. We managed to use the local transport to go to Corfu Town and on another day we went to Ipsos which was lovely. The fares were very reasonable and the buses were very regular. To summarise: lovely location with good staff but food could be better, drinks could be much better and entertainment needs to be much much betterMore
Enjoyed visit to this hotel. It is more for families but there were a few couples there
Staff could not have been more helpful especially Vangellis who arranged menus for myself as I have a number of food intolerance. All the staff were very polite, efficient and friendly especially Vangellis and Nokia who worked behind the bar.More
A bit surprised
Just returened from a week at this hotel. Our party consisted of 5 adults and a child of 2 1/2. The reception staff were welcoming and quickly had all the paperwork and info sorted out in minutes. In fact the overall feeling with everybody who worked here wanted to be top drwer and they were. The cleanliness overall was also 100% In fact the house keeping staff were possiblly best weve ever had. The food was like all all inclusives rarely that hot and too salty ,something a number of people said, but the choices were good and plentiful. Drink however I thought was pretty poor. There were two other restaurants you book into and were included in the Allinclusive deal, a Greek one wasnt too keen on, but the Asian one was excellent and would use again if returning. The Hotel had big grounds, plenty of seating . and never saw towels out other than at meal times. There was a large Kids/aduklts pool but was always feezing. There where two other pools areas, a quiet one and an adults only one. There is also a small strip of beach and the sea always seemed to be warm and you could walk a long way out quite safely, you dont have to be a swimmer. The hotel also has the usual expensive shop. Snacks are available almost all day. Buses stop close to the hotel entrance, a short walk down the path, Corfu Town just a short trip away (probably about 20/25 minutes walk if feeling fit and athletic. Nearby is a Lidl, and a bowling alley. Entertainment was just okay, great for the kids but didnt feel enough for adults. There was an open air ampitheatre and an indoor stage.. Howvever more of it should have been inside as the outside area isnt big enough. The Il Divo tribute were excellent and well received and they performed inside. The views from the gardens are spectacular and couldnt be bettered at a five star hotel anywhere. It was quite impressive and great to relax in a chair and view it all. Overall would recommend this place for a pleasant holidayMore
