Amazing hotel with amazing staff.
We couldn't fault this amazing hotel. From checking in to checking out we had an absolutely brilliant holiday. Our room in the main building had a beautiful sea view and was immaculate when we arrived and the cleaning lady did an amazing job every day.I am a really fussy person with cleanliness but I couldn't fault it at all. The staff, what can I say ,really friendly ,genuine people who go the extra mile to assist in any way they can.Nothing is too much trouble from the cleaners to the manager, always approachable and willing to help.If you have a problem just approach reception and they will do their utmost to solve it to your satisfaction. Lots of choice in the restaurant, even very fussy eaters are catered for with a vegan corner and a vegetarian area. The wasps were a nuisance when dining outside so we dined inside....problem solved. We were all inclusive with a wide drinks menu to choose from and not forgetting the delicious ice cream!!! This hotel has so many amazing points to it I could go on for ever. We have cruised the world, visited many countries, stayed in lots of luxurious hotels and I can honestly say this hotel is up there with the best of them. Will we return? With this hotel it's a definite yes,we can't wait!!! We had a totally relaxed week being pampered and looked after. By the way this is a genuine review from two very relaxed ,happy holidaymakers.More

What a loverly hotel, engaging staff, great food, wonderful views from the bar, sunset heaven. My advice would be to go all inclusive it’s well worth the extra cost. My wife and I had a fantastic week, good entertainment, plenty to keep you occupied or just relax on a cushioned sun bed, only small detractor pool was rather cool.... More
Top quality from top to bottom. Location is out of this World and the staff are an amazing asset. Clean, relaxing resort with superb entertainment and atmosphere in general. Would definitely recommend to other travelers looking for a classy, adult-only resort. More
Well I had a lovely time in this fabulous Hotel
i just read the review below from wild mountain7. I could not believe that this was describing the Hotel that I stayed at for the last two weeks (came home on Friday 13th October). I have been traveling with TUI/Thompson for 30 years and Claire McCarthy is one of the best reps i have encountered. Always hands on, always available. Taking the points one by one and my findings as follows: • Dirty, hairy rooms, only beds get made in the morning. - I found that every day room and bathroom were thoroughly cleaned, linen and towels changed, floors swabbed every time. • TV constantly not working. - I Never had a problem. I could not get the safe open and reception sent a handyman around in 5 minutes • Vehicles used to ferry guests around look like they are from the scrap yard. - they are a little old, granted but you can only buy a new car on Corfu every 20 years. That is the law. • Dirty glasses & cutlery in restaurant on daily basis. - Never experienced this • Grounds unkempt. Grass areas are dirt with sprigs of grass and weeds. - No. incorrect. Garders constantly at work • Reception staff (Katerina) rude rude rude. - Never, Never never. • Dimitra Galauopoulou (guest relation manager) hasn't fixed any issues reported. - He does for everyone else. i wonder why he hasn't for you • Dirty towel basket stands 6ft high every day as no staff to empty. - No, fresh towels always available except at the end of the day. • We and other guests clearing own tables at dinner as staff chatting. - no, never. • Hotel areas smell of sewerage. - there is an aroma occasionally around rooms 200=220 • Taking a shower leaves bathroom as a wet room.- Yes this is a problem. However they are swabbed by the maids • Pubic hair found in bath tub and on telephone upon arrival. - How doe you know it was pubic? i never encountered this in two weeks. • Brochure pictures not a true representation of hotel. Brochure looks fantastic but in reality, couldn't be further from the truth. - I disagree • Broken lights and light fittings around complex. - i didn;t see any • Duvet cover 4 times smaller than duvet. - Rubbish • Same boring repetitive food daily. Plus, if you can't eat nuts, you're scewed! - Not so. the food offering was excellent and enough variety for two weeks. • 98% of staff can't smile or say hello to you. - All of them say Kalimera or Kalispera all the time. • Beach area a total joke and looks nothing like brochure.- i liked the beach • Front of reception piled up with broken down, bashed up cars and golf buggies. - the buggies are for ferrying guests and luggage and doing room service.. i think there were three or four of them LAST BUT NOT LEAST - JUST FOUND OUT THAT WE ARE SHARING OUR FACILITIES AND RESTAURANTS WITH TWO OTHER 3* HOTELS ACROSS THE BEACH - SO WHAT? I, like many others, think the Hotel is fantastic and will go back next year.More
Grand, stylish hotel with beautiful views
Booked with Thomson for 1 week Half Board staying 6 - 13th October. Travelled as a couple in our mid-twenties seeking a relaxing week and some sunshine before the Winter months. Weather averaged 23-24 degrees, very comfortable and warm. Temp good enough for sunbathing without being too hot and sticky! Arrived at the hotel by transfer coach and immediately impressed when walking into the lobby to reception. The hotel is very ‘grand’ and reflects its name. We were welcomed by friendly staff who checked us in quickly and handed us a glass of bubbly. Porters then took our suitcases, loaded into a car and drove us 15 seconds down the hill to our room opposite the Spa and Tennis Courts. The rooms are little bungalow style buildings situated in the hillside, all facing the sea. There are lots of steps, but also a funicular lift if required. We were room 291 which was only a short distance away from reception, and was a few minute walk up and down the slope which was fine. This was actually a really nice location as it was so close to all the amenities, and only needed the lift when going to the beach. We stayed in a Standard double room. The rooms are spacious, have a huge bed with the most comfortable pillows and quilt I’ve ever slept on (goose feather). There was a sofa, flat screen television, mini bar, coffee and tea facilities, two double wardrobes with inside lighting, separate bath and shower, safe, aircon and balcony with two chairs and a table. The hotel does enforce a dress code at Dinner which is men in long trousers and women in smart dress. We only used the buffet restaurant on our stay for both breakfast and dinner and was satisfied with the food choices. You can expect a mixed selection of meat, seafood, rice, potatoes, vegetables, salad and a large selection of desserts and ice cream. Breakfast is full English buffet style, or cereals, fresh meats, cheese, breads, pancakes, waffles, muffins, cookies etc. This was enough to sustain us through to dinner every day. The drinks are expensive, for a cocktail you are expecting no less than 8 euros each, soft drinks 3 euro, non-alcoholic cocktail 5 euro, glass of wine 4 euro, bottle of water 2.80 euro. The bar staff did however treat us to a few drinks ‘on the house’ if selected from the all-inclusive list, I thought this was very kind of them. I believe the hotel do offer a drinks package if you enquire at reception. There was entertainment every night, live music most nights. Thursday night is Gala night and most people are encouraged to smart dress in black & white. This is an evening for the hotel to introduce and thank all the staff working at the hotel including kitchen staff which was very nice. The pool and lounge scene was great. There are numerous levels of sun loungers and seating, including pool side, board walk and grass areas. These all look out onto the stunning mountain views. Beware the pool is very cold, but I recommend joining in Aqua Fit at 11am to warm up! The sea is certainly warmer but very rocky so be careful on your feet. There is a beach bar & restaurant that belong to the hotel, if you are staying Half Board you will receive 20% off your bill, otherwise this is included in your All Inclusive package. I heard from other guests the food is very good down there for lunch. Tennis, ping pong, fitness activities, daytime programme are all included so you will have things to do throughout the day. Your ping pong table however might get gate-crashed by cats but this added to the entertainment. We booked in to the spa on our final day for 2 x signature massages at 65 euro each for 50 minutes. I had a female masseuse and my boyfriend had a male masseuse. Be wary booking the male masseuse as we heard from several people, including my partner how rough he was even when asking for medium pressure. You might be better off with a female unless you like lots of pain. There is a shop, spa shop, and several desks for boat and car rentals in the lobby. We heard the boat rental was good and cheap for a day’s hire. Overall we were extremely impressed with the hotel and the whole experience here. The resort was so good we didn’t leave it all week, other than walking up to the chapel in the mountain. You can get some lovely views up there which is worth the walk. Would return here without doubt and travelling this time of year you can get some great deals and still enjoy the warm Mediterranean weather. If you wish to know any more please do not hesitate to ask! More
