Holiday Village Kos piles on a whole host of fun and games, with things like kids’ clubs and an activity pool. On top of that, it’s grabbed a top spot right by the beach.
Holiday Village Kos is a real all-rounder. As well as a hat-trick of pools, it throws up a huge list of sports and activities, and restaurants that tick off Italian, Greek and American food.
This place gets top marks for its location – there’s a sandy beach footsteps away, and a 15-minute walk will put you in the centre of Marmari.

This is a fantastic well kept hotel, the food selection is great plenty of choice, some things were done great, others not so much but in general good stuff the drinks selection is fantastic albeit when we had our first few drinks they were akin to rocket fuel! a tad strong, i don't know if this was just our first few or if we'd just got used to them but they were fine for the majority of the holiday! the entertainment for the kids around the hotel is spot on, there is always something happening and it's certainly not in your face and overly loud as with a lot of hotels. i was unfortunate enough to be ill the first night of getting there with a virus (not caused by anything / anyone in the hotel) so i immediately booked in with the doctor who was first class in getting back to my holiday! the rooms were clean and spacious we had a small issue with Ants in the bathroom they seemed to be attracted to everything! so be warned keep spillages to a minimum! for the dads yes they show the football! and it's situated right next to the beer tap! (wahoo!) beach is nice deffo worth a visit for Sunset (google is your friend for the time) With regards to Marmari, there isn't much to do there are a few shops and number of horse riding centres and you can change up your scenery by heading to a different beach if you like, my wife, daughter and i headed into Kos town using the bus out the back of the hotel which was prompt and cheap and a quick enough journey (25mins?) waterpark is great and worth a visit. 15 EUR in a taxi (if i remember rightly) you don't have to be up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed there are rules in place to stop this however after a certain time (830??? ish i think) they are all fair game, although we never struggled for sunbeds. Kids club and Widgets were excellent although it was the same setup every night, couple of episodes of peppa pig, widgets, live and loud (sort of a gameshow) i think they could do with doing a Kids Disco or something different to break this up a bit (and give the entertainers a well earned break!) Gripes: need more loungers on the beach; there seemed to be only 20ish loungers no where near enough to accomodate the amount of people. the american grill restaurant; we booked in and it was beyond terrible. my burger was supposed to be a southern style with crispy onions and sticky bbq sauce, came out with a very wet pasta style sauce and sloppy onions, the bun was soggy and the burger dry and cooked to death (burgers across the hotel are cooked the same) the chicken was crispy one side and soggy on the bottom not a nice texture, we left without having dessert and went straight to the main restaurant. i recommend they re-think this as it appears burgers and steak on their specialty however PIZZA in the main restaurant is fantastic (freshly made dough, fresh toppings!) and i think they should use this instead of burgers and bbq food for this diner. all TV channels were German except Sky News, not that we came to sit and watch tv but whilst my daughter was napping it'd be nice to watch something Tip: take a plastic pint tankard / drinking cup if you don't want to drink out of small plastic cups, they'll happily fill them up. all in all its a great place to visit with friendly staff and good food and good drinks.More
We have just got back from 2 weeks at the holiday village in Kos. It is a really lovely and clean hotel. The food is excellent in the main restaurant and the American diner was good too. The Greek restaurant however was awful! Lots of people said the same even the reps were advising people not to go there! The staff were fantastic - very helpful and friendly. Managers, bar staff etc. Unfortunately our 18month old caught hand foot and mouth from the crèche. We advised staff who were very quick to sterilise everything - this should be done on a regular basis though and not just after a child is ill! The beach bar is not on the beach - which is a real shame. It is onsite before the gate that leads onto the road that you cross to get on the beach. It should not be called a beach bar! The pools were freezing and the heated pool was not turned on which was a real shame as my 4 year old didn't really swim for this reason. My only other criticism would be the entertainment - whilst the reps work unbelieveably hard and are great with the kids - the evening shows are a bit of a let down. Basically the reps taking it in turns to sing for an hour. One night they just put moana on as the evenings entertainment! Other hotels we have visited have a variety of acts that perform in the evenings. They didn't have a children's disco which was a shame. They do an hours game show for the kids with a few odd songs - which isn't good for the younger kids who get bored and so just want to climb the stairs etc! Overall we had a lovely holiday. We wouldn't however return to this hotel. More
Kid holiday village
Just come back from the holiday village Rooms where of a decent quality and where cleaned everyday we stayed in room 634 The staff are an asset to this hotel. The reps work hard as well Could do with better quality alcohol but the beer was ok (the cocktails are lethal haha) Food in the buffet restaurant was ok but it could do to be a wee bit warmer The American diner was great As we where there in October we had no problems getting sun loungers For the price we paid it was a bargain More

Great End of Season Holiday
We recently stayed for week with family and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities are good and the children’s entertainment is good too. Luckily for us the resort was relatively quiet and we were able to benefit from everything on site. The beach is close by and literally a two minute walk. To be honest we spent quite a bit of time there as the sea temperature was significantly warmer than the pool. The beach is sandy and the sea is child friendly with the relatively shallow drop off from the shore. The food is average but plentiful. The Greek and American restaurants make a nice change and adds some variety. The bars are ok but the all inclusive drinks are a bit naff. You can easily get branded drinks too at a relatively cheap cost. We benefitted from several trips of site and went on the organised Aegean cruise, a trip in to Kos town and a visit to Paradise Beach. All thoroughly recommended and the Tui reps are helpful in organising. It’s also worth hiring one of the cars and going exploring. The apartment was clean, modern, well maintained, close to the pool and facilities. The grounds are well maintained and nicely presented. Would I stay again? Yes - but there is a lot other resorts on the island that we would also consider as well. It’s been a great experience and the resort is definitely recommended. Thanks More
Good Place for family holiday
No way could we fault the hotel, the room or the service we received in the restaurant - all staff were very friendly especially the waiters in the pool bar. There is something for everyone to do here. The only complaint we had was the charge the hotel charges for keeping your room when you have a late flight - 60 euros we were quoted until 1500 hours and after that a further 10 euros were added for every hour you required the room after 3.00 pm. It would have been cheaper booking an extra days stay at the hotel - a room was provided for people to have a shower before they left but this had to be booked for a certain time and you could only have it for 30 minutes. This was fine for my husband and myself but unfortunately couples with two or more children were not allowed any longer. This was the only complaint we had about the resort - other than this I would highly recommend this hotel for a happy family holiday.More
