Couples Tower Isle

My husband and I traveled here for our honeymoon in October. We reviewed plenty of information both on this site and FB and were looking forward to a phenomenal vacation. WRONG. We would never recommend this resort. * Disclaimer that I’ve been to several all-inclusive resorts in other countries. 1. The drive to the resort from the airport in Montego Bay is bad. The drive to the airport when you’re leaving is misery. I spent my time looking out the window half trying not to vomit from then insane driving and also trying to calm my anxiety from the driver and other cars missing accidents by near inches. 2. Our travel agent communicated we were there for our honeymoon. I.e.- lovey dovey frills were expected. On our 2nd to last day and 3rd attempt to speaking with them, we got a bottle of champagne. No rose petals, desserts, as expected. 3. Husband and I are foodies. We read so many reviews of how amazing the food is. Wrong. Yikes. 4. The beach is lackluster. If you enjoy rocks and seaweed, this is for us. Clearly, this was not the resort for us. Quite honestly all the reviews from people saying they are coming “home” sound wonderful but are delusional. We will not return.

My husband and I just completed our 5 night stay at Tower Isle. Everything at this resort was perfect. The people who work here are the nicest we have met at an all inclusive resort. They go above and beyond to make you happy. On our first night they ran out of my husbands favorite scotch (as no one typically asks for it) and by the next morning they had restocked it at the main bar just for him. We took advantage of a lot of the water sports and we enjoyed them so much. The scuba team (Davian, Natalia, and Chazz) are amazing and they make the experience so fun. My husband tried water skiing for his first time and Arnold was a very good instructor and took him out twice. We also loved going sailing with Taj! We also took advantage of resort switch with Sans Souci (which books really fast so don’t wait too long to sign up) and Dunn’s River Falls. Both were so fun! This resort really does have top shelf liquor and they make really yummy drinks! Now for the food... it was all AMAZING! Eight rivers, Bayside and Verandah all had such amazing quality food and everything we ordered was so tasty. In our opinion, this place had the best all inclusive food by far! Even the food at the dinner and lunch buffets was yummy when it’s usually mediocre. Although the beach was small, it was nice and secluded. We felt safe leaving our belongings and going for a swim in the ocean. We met so many couples that come year after year and now we know why. One thing that I would like to point out is that the rooms aren’t all that, they are a little dated so if you are used to newer more luxury hotels this might be a let down. My husband and I didn’t mind them as we don’t spend much time in the room anyways. The beds were comfy, room was clean and spacious, and our balcony had the best view! Overall, this resort is a must and we’re looking forward to coming back.

The resort is wonderful Food is above standard and the rooms were great. The staff are wonderful and will make your stay worth it. The diving was great and was included. Great vacation. The watersports folks are awesome to work with. I had not been scuba diving in a couple years and took a refresher course and dove the same day. It was great. They have plenty of different dive sites to keep it interesting. The wait staff and bartenders were awesome. The staff works very hard for you. Our room was spotless every day. We always had fresh towels and supplies. The mini-bar was stocked with everything we asked for and was refreshed daily. We like building 3 or the main building the best.
