Great place to stay !
Great food , loved the adult area in the 19 block - not much entertainment at night but a good resort to stay at . Golf carts to restaurants ( from room ) very slow to pick you up from your room so expect a fair bit of walking . Italian restaurant incredible ! More
I recently traveled to Azul Beach for a friends wedding and I was not disappointed! I would love to go back when all of the amenities are fully functioning ( this was due to maintenance ). The wedding venue was beautiful, the food was great, my only negative thing to say is that I wish I had more time there! More
Great family getaway! Very nice rooms, pools, amazing restaurants. Views beautiful, very clean, inside and out. They are under a lot of construction, but, still plenty to do. Really don't notice it. Want to go back next year to see finished projects.More

Just back from a 2 week visit here and the hotel / staff are amazing. We stayed in the premium area in a swim up room which was amazing. Also have Nancy and Blanca offering drinks so regularly you don't have to move which is a nice touch. The Caribbean restaurant is the best for lunch as burgers are amazing, Italian was our favourite for dinner. Unfortunately I feel like the buffet was not up to much and did not always offer simple things like pizza / chips etc and have 2 desert tables with a repeat of the exact same dishes which is a waste of space. I think in a resort that you can't really leave on foot the food needs to be better. The entertainment was quite repetitive however the fire show was really good!! The staff are amazing in this resort nothing is too much to ask they are always willing to help Would I return? Yes but would definitely book a swim up room and hope that some improvements to spoons were madeMore
Beautiful and Relaxing
I just returned from a short (4 night) stay at Azul The Fives. The resort is lovely. It is well maintained, lush, and bustling with activity. I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts and I found Azul The Fives to be one of the cleanest and modern. The food was above average. Surprisingly, one of our favorite restaurants was Oriola the Beach Club Grill (the ceviche bar was awesome) for lunch each day! We also enjoyed the Thai restaurant. Try the Curried Apple dessert! Only two minor things that keep me from giving a 5-star rating... We were in villa 19, which is the farthest from the beach, so it was a long walk to the beach and several restaurants, which was fine in flipflops but in heels, at night, was a problem. There are golf carts that circulate around but the schedule was sporadic, at best. So be prepared to walk to dinner each night. The other issue (which is temporary) was the lack of a bar at the beach pool... the swim-up bar is undergoing renovation so there was only a makeshift bar on the beach which was quite inconvenient. However, the staff at the entire resort was friendly, helpful and energetic. Between the villas and the beach is a protected cenote area that is lovely, we made it a point each day to walk the wooden pathway to view the monkeys! I would recommend the Azul Five, the minor issues were outweighed by the value and service.More
