The Cerro Mar Colina offers a choice of pools and a great line-up of activities, all topped off with sweeping views of Albufeira.
From its hillside position, this place comes with spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and Albufeira’s terracotta-topped old town. You can walk to the sandy shoreline in 5 minutes.
Interiors are lovely and bright, with whitewashed walls and plenty of sunlight that streams in through floor-to-ceiling windows. Apartments carry the white motif, too, and they’re finished with simple furniture and sun-trap balconies.

2 outdoor pools
The two pools are set together on the sun terrace, surrounded by palm trees comfy loungers, with straw parasols to keep the sun at bay. The larger, curvy pool is ideal for everyone who wants to swim, splash about or just float in the sun, whilst the smaller, circular pool is ideal for the little ones.
This small friendly, heated pool provides some relieve for those who are not sun lovers, or for when the weather misbehaves. Loungers line the sides making this a good spot to chill for a while.
Monte Verde is open for breakfast and dinner, and offers a wide selection of tasty local and International cuisine.

Spacious clean studio
Stayed here for a week. Booked a studio including breakfast which was large with a separate kitchen & separate dining room area. Daily fresh towels & bin change. The shower did not have a lot of water pressure. There was plenty on offer for breakfast from cooked to continental. Staff were lovely. Only downside was the location. Was up on a steep hill & going down to the main square in old town was going down the hill & 97 concrete steps. Going back up was a workout but something you got use to. Not suitable for those with mobility issues unless you wanted to use a taxi each time! Could not fault old town of Albufeira though. Beach was gorgeous & plenty of restaurants to choose from. The locals are so friendly. We had our favourites. We will be returning to Albufeira again.More
Exactly what we needed
Myself and my 2 friends were looking for a a cheap getaway, we found cheap flights and found these apartments. Large, clean and a short walk into the old town and the beach.... Be aware though the walk is up and down alot of stairs, but for my friends and I it was no problem. There was a twin room and a pull out bed in the lounge and a short walk to the supermarket to stock up the kitchen. Highly recommended staying here. More

A step above the rest.
( a lot actually) Stayed 19th Sept. to 3rd Oct. in a one bedroom apt in the Atlantico just a few yards up the hill from Cerro mar garden reception, the entrance was next door to the mini market. We were in room 405 above the pool so had a good view over the pool and with a partial sea view, sun on the balcony practically all day. Nice clean pool and well kept gardens with plenty of loungers all in good condition. Pool bar open from 10am(ish) to 6.00pm(ish) - should have been open longer, at least till 7pm. Coffee and snacks are also served at this bar. The apartment was spacious, cleaned everyday, fresh towels everyday. Kitchen and cooking facilities excellent with oven and 4 ring hob, kettle toaster good fridge freezer, just missing a microwave! Bathroom and shower OK, plenty of hot water, beds comfy enough. You also get air con included in living area and bedroom. You can get a safe for 10 Euros a week (must be the cheapest I know) Aldi and Lidl close by and very good value - we are in our 60s and could walk to Aldi and back with our shopping. Reception staff good, but we have to give 2 special people a mention - the restaurant waitress TANIA MARTINS and the chef FRANCISCO (CHICO). Tania was the most bubbly and happy waitress in Portugal. She is definitely in the right job. A special thanks to Chico for the serenade on barbecue night (you all should go to that). The steps into town are challenging but we did it and got a taxi when we didn't want to. All in all a great hotel. Would we go back - without a doubt. This time of year the weather is great hot in the day and cooler at night.More

Great for Families
Excellent place for families to visit, plenty of pools, always sunbeds available as plenty on offer. Very pleasant staff at bars etc. Rooms and surroundings always spotlessly clean. Only a 10 minute walk to Old Town, where there's plenty of bars and restaurants, but you do have to encounter 90 steps, so probably not great if you have walking difficulties. We were a party of 8 adults and 9 children ranging from 5 years to 13 years, and all enjoyed very much. More
