This sea-view hotel has a beach across the road and a pool back at base. The restaurant puts on a good buffet, too.
Las Arenas is just across the road from Bil Bil Beach, so it gets sweeping views of the Med. It has its own pool, too, plus a buffet restaurant and a lounge bar with live entertainment.
Benalmadena town starts just behind the hotel, and there are shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. There’s also a pretty promenade that runs all the way through a marina to Torremolinos.

Excellent Hotel - Highly Recommended
I found this an excellent hotel in a good location overlooking the sea. Staff were friendly and the hotel is clean and well appointed. Food is varied and excellent. Swimming pool is to the side of the hotel and slightly shaded in the afternoon. Entertainment provided each night. I wouldn't think it would be ideal for parents with young children however.More
Not as good as the first visit
Stayed here in October 2017 but found it wasn’t as good as the first time we stayed there a few years ago, we noticed the tea/coffee in the morning was Luke warm I also noticed the corridor was very noisy especially late at night when people are going back to their rooms, you can also smell when someone is smoking in their room, food was lovely, most of the staff were polite but the one person I have too mention and feel I need to thank is Marina the Tui/Thomson rep who went out of her way to resolve a mix up I had with my room, it was very much appreciated!More
2nd time of visiting Las Arenas and as before apartments spotless, food very good, someone would need to be very fussy not to find something to eat. Staff in dining room, bar and sandwich area work very hard and still remain pleasant. Entertainment is very good as is the service especially being entertained also by the "dancing waitress" named Mica, she is special and a big asset. About to book for next year as we are looking forward to our next visit. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that the bathroom we had this time was a tight squeeze so I would endeavour to ask for a decent sized bathroom but that is the only negative.More
A delightful stay
Back at the Las Arenas hotel Benalmadena Costa del sol. It's just as perfect as we remember it. The staff from management to waiting staff and chamber maids are polite and very courtious. It is refreshing to be treated so well.More

BEWARE - CANCELLED OUR ROOM DUE TO OVERBOOKING
We booked 4 months ago as had been same week last year and enjoyed our stay. We were notified by our travel company 7 days before departure that the hotel had overbooked and we were being offered another hotel or cance! I had contacted the hotel week before to request sea view and thanked us for returning again to the hotel, when I got the cancelled / overbooked email I contacted them again and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond. Very poor show from this popular hotel, so please be aware that they always overbook and you may very well be moved elsewhere. Your travel company do not have any control over this it's seemingly common practice with the hotels!More
