Invisa Hotel Es Pla

Modernised since our last visit, which I have to say was over 20 years ago. This is a clean and modern property, we stayed bed and breakfast, the food at breakfast was varied and one could find something to sustain until lunch, not the best ever breakfast I have encountered on my travels but is was OK. Rooms are clean and made up daily the Hotel location is excellent although next to a busy road little noise punctuated into the room, it's a 5 minute slow walk into the town or in the other direction a large supermarket with great value produce (wine, food etc). The staff were unobtrusive but available if needed. Would I visit this Hotel again a definite maybe dependant on the deal available.

This is the most difficult review I've ever had to write due to the amazing staff but the hotel was lacking in some things. Firstly I arrived late October with my partner, was told a few days prior to arrival that the hotel was closing a day early and that they had moved us to the hotel around the corner which wasn't too much of an issue but we had paid for half board plus and was only offered half board at the other hotel. It was inconvenient enough having to pack up a day early and live out of a suitcase for the night. Invisa offered us a free lunch on one of the days to make up for it, which not to sound ungrateful wasn't the best option for us. Arrived at the hotel about 1am, had pre warned them via email so that I was sure we would be able to gain access and was told the hotel was 24 hours. I wish I would have gotten his name but the gentleman at reception to greet us was extremely helpful and friendly and had 2 packed lunches to give us due to the time which was very thoughtful of the hotel. The room was a decent size, big wardrobe, nice balcony, fridge which could have been colder, beds became a nuisance over the couple of days, twin beds pushed together for a young couple wasn't practical for us. Room definitely needs updating, stains on walls and curtains, key to open door always got stuck in the lock, small tv which only had 2 English channels but both channels was the news. Went out as soon as we arrived to check out the local area, the gentleman was happy to direct us to the nearest strip at 1:30 in the morning. Was about 10-15 min walk. Nice little strip with clubs. During the day the same strip has restaurant's and shops, beach a few minutes away. The food at the hotel was.... not even sure what word to put there. Struggled most days to find something we liked for breakfast and dinner. Had the same things most days and was just very basic and lacked variety. Some days the food was cooked better depending on the chefs. The drinks section was good and was nice to pour your own wine and beer for lunch and in the evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped my partner when he was unable to pour his beer. Lidl was a stone's throw away so brought drinks to keep in the fridge. Bus station is a few minutes away to get to any location that you need. Laura the receptionist was very helpful during our entire stay. Phoned up the other hotel for us in the morning on the last day so that we were able to go straight over. This is a nice hotel, just needs to change a few things in my opinion.

We stayed at the end of October and found the Location good, not too far from the Bay. The Hotel was clean, would say the Food was basic but plenty of it. We found the Staff helpful and friendly and enjoyed the various activities that the Hotel laid on,
