These apartments are in a quiet spot just a short walk from Playa del Ingles’ bars and nightlife.
These split-level apartments look like little cottages. They surround a courtyard with a large pool, bar and chill-out areas. The whole place is compact in size, which makes for a friendly atmosphere.
The complex is a 10-minute walk from the centre of Playa del Inglés. The beach, meanwhile, is a 20-minute stroll away. And just downstairs, outside the complex, there’s a handful of shops and eating places.

A large lagoon style pool takes centre stage here with a bridge leading to a snack bar located in the middle. Sunbeds and parasols align the pools edge.
The paddling pool is just the right size for little ones and you can keep a close eye on them from your sunbed.
Sit back and catch up on with the news and sports back home with a snack from the vending machines in the TV area.

Ok you get what you pay for and for £300 for the week I found it basic but lovely have to pay for your add ons like wi fi fan safe etc but you pay this in a lot of holiday apartments. The staff were lovely and very accommodating the pool area small but not a problem plenty of sun beds available and lovely sun trap no entertainment but there is plenty outside to go and see and enjoy. Apartments basic and could do with a freshen up but this didn’t bother us at all it was clean and comfortable. Not very child friendly as a lot of steps (but had ramps too ) but for myself and friend we loved it and I would go back there again if your expecting 5 star this is not for you if your just expecting the above for your money it’s great well done jardin del sol apartments for your hospitality More
We've just returned from a 2 week stay here for our Honeymoon (4th-18th Sept) and we absolutely loved it here. Doesn't look very much from the outside and it's tucked away around the corner, but once inside, what a lovely, clean, well kept complex. We had house number 81, which looked out over an Irish bar and Chinese restaurant from the back. Don't let this put you off; the noise isn't that bad and to be fair, it's the RIU hotel 2 doors along where you hear the most noise from, but even this is done by 11:30pm or so. Maid service every other day, totally cleaned our apartment, even down to washing any dishes. The place is absolutely spotless, with recycling points and communal bins all around the complex for your rubbish.Gardeners always beavering about tending to the masses of greenery, as well as Lifeguards. My only suggestion would be to maybe employ a Security Guard or night staff to patrol the complex after hours: On one evening we had a Scottish family a few doors down rein-act an episode of 'Jeremy Kyle' from 10pm-3am - very drunk and loud, went from singing and screaming to full blown arguing right below our bedroom window - VERY angry and tired residents the next morning! Not what you want to experience when you're trying to relax. Oh, and be aware, most things are extras to your booking - Safety deposit boxes are 15e per week, late check outs are 25e and take you to 5pm on your last day. Things like fans and the TV need to be hired, but we didn't bother with either of these. Just outside the front door of Reception, there is a Strip Club (Claudines) but don't be put off by this - You don't see anything seedy, there's no one loitering outside, it's all tucked away down some stairs. Don't worry! If you cross the road and walk in a straight line, you'll come to the Yumbo Centre in about a 1/4 of a mile - Go here if you like to barter for deals in shops, they ALL do it in here, we got a Football strip for the bairn for 20e instead of 35e. Out of the complex and left will take you down to the beach. Hit the seafront and go right to go to 'Anexo' Shopping Centre (down the stairs). Great for shops and restaurants, but be warned - The 'Looky Looky' men are out in force, and they offer you everything from watches to weed - We were offered drugs at least half a dozen times a night. Seems to be general practice though so please don't be too offended, a swift 'No thanks' seems to suffice. I can strongly recommend 'Aquario' and 'Cactus' for food and amazing service - Good prices as well. Seafront and left takes you to another shopping centre - Make sure you go down the stairs and in the door to access a cute little marketplace full of nick nacks. All in all, a very pleasant stay in Gran Canaria (as always) - Probably my favorite holiday destination!More
You Get What You Pay For
This review is based on 2 friends staying in Gran Canaria for 7 nights, booked through Thomson Holidays. I personally have stayed at Jardin Del Sol back in 2009, and it was absolutely fine then hence the return. I Holiday In Gran Canaria every year and this time we’d chosen Jardin Del Sol as we wanted someone self catering accommodation that wasn’t just a hotel room. The apartments are exactly what you pay for however it maybe worth pointing out that there is no air conditioning, you can hire it from the apartments at an extra supplement of €70 with a €30 deposit. Along with this there is a safe within your apartment and this is €20 (ish) for the week with a €3 deposit. We didn’t use the rep service as we know The Island well, but we always saw him pottering about the place, he was a Scottish lad, sorry I can’t recall your name. Jardin Del Sol is only a very short walk away from the Yumbo Centre and Kasbah Centre, and around 20mins away from the beach. I would highly recommend spending evenings in the Yumbo Centre and even more so at Ricky’s Cabaret Bar, is must for all. I would return to Jardin Del Sol, however I think on my next return visit to Gran Canaria I will book a private apartment.More
Poor Hotel - Stay Elsewhere
We booked 7 nights here from 29/9/17 - we lasted 3 before asking for a move. There is no air conditioning in the rooms - and they get very hot indeed. You are then stuck between a rock and a hard place i.e. you have to keep your windows open for any possible chance of sleep BUT then you have to listen to the incessant noise of the ignorant types of people who sit drinking cheap wine on their patios until about 3am - we had 3 such groups opposite us. The hotel does seem to attract "that type" of person. We rented a fan from reception - waste of time as it just circulates the hot air. Add to the misery that we had a lap dancing club immediately beneath our bedroom - which also meant noise from groups of men in the early hours. A terrible experience for us and we do wonder why TUI feature this hotel in their brochure. The area at the rear of the hotel is run-down, riddled with graffiti, litter and the homeless (for whom I have every sympathy). We moved to another hotel away from PDI - in Maspalomas - it was wonderful compared to the Jardin Del Sol. Sorry - simply a very poor place to have a holiday.More
Apartments are tired & not very comfy . No air con , no hair dryer , no safe included . Can rent air con for €70 , hair drier €12 & safe €15 a week feel this is a rip off . The outside area has a lot of noisy locals hanging around bars till 5am sometimes later . Staff don't seem bothered & weren't that friendly. Would not go back . More
