Sea views from the rooms and the pools make this hotel a laid-back retreat.
All rooms at this beachfront hotel get a sea view, and the place is just steps away from the black sand. A free shuttle bus gets you to Puerto Mogan in five minutes, or there are cabs outside which will take you to Puerto Rico, about 10 minutes away.
The hotel has two dining areas, including one with al fresco seating. There’s also a funky piano bar and a sports bar. All this, plus a couple of good-sized pools as well.

We spent a week here from 25 September. The hotel was great and the staff friendly. We were upgraded to a junior suite and so had premium all exclusive. The hotel was very clean. Food was varied and good. The resort itself is limited and the beach whilst clean has black gritty sand so you can feel messy. My only complaint about hotel is that there need to be more umbrellas round the pool, although to be fair we always got one and didn't ask whether any more were available. As premium inclusive you can have premium cocktails and can ask for bottles of beer and bottles of cava rather than use the machines. A great holiday if all you want to do is relax in the sun.More

This is my personal experience, I don’t talk crap but your holiday may be different, so read on and use the info as you will. Visited the hotel in October, the best thing about the holiday was the weather apart from a Canarian climar which is a North African sand and dust cloud which sat over the island for a few days, it happens. Anyway, the food was absolutely average, i think there must be a trade of between free drinks and really good food from this all inclusive deal. The internet is not free and only works poorly in the lobby area for 19 euros for the week, don’t bother, you get the same deal on your phone in EU country’s so why bother. The beer was watered down, the mixers and juices were fake and tasted of chemicals, you can go gold wrist band for extra cash, you get the safe which you have to pay for on a white band and branded spirits, some chocolates not much more than that, but you still get the fake juices. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room i had was 3* standard, the bed was two singles pushed together. The pool was two pools side by side, no problems with the pools, lifeguarded all day. The staff just didn’t seem to care about the guest experience, recently been to Rhodes where the Greeks knew how to get to know you and treat you very well at all levels. The sun beds were really uncomfortable, this stated standard of hotel should be providing the foam toppers to really enhance the guest experience. The resort is cut out of a valley, to be honest you feel like your staying in a quarry pit that’s been tidied up badly. The sea is the Atlantic so it looks dirty especially with the black volcanic sand. The whole of Gran Canaria looked like it could do with the councils getting some trucks and really getting rid of all the crap lying around and dump it in an out of the way valley somewhere. My overall opinion is not in a billion years will i go back to this hotel and maybe never go back to Gran Canaria when the Greeks treat you better.More

Perfect place to start your vacation. We drove around for 3 days, and you can travel through the whole island via the gc1-road from here! Taurito bay is beautiful, also full of waterlife, perfect for snorkeling/diving. About the hotel: our first allin! We thought we would get something romantic in our bedroom but nope, only one premium cocktail like alot of people. But the food was fine, the drinks also, lots of variation. Nice hotel also, very beautiful. No complaints at all!More
Lovely hotel, lovely holiday.
My partner & i have just returned from a wks stay at Taurito Princess. Firstly let me start by saying don't pay any attention to all the negative reviews. After reading all the pessimistic reviews we were both worried what kind of hotel we were going to, well neither of us had nothing to worry about. The hotel is spotless, constantly being cleaned. After travelling extensively we found the room to be one of the best we've stayed in with a beautiful view of Taurito & the sea. We loved the food, there's always something to take your fancy whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. People moaning about the food must dine on Michelin star food everyday. Yes the pool is a little crowded, but once you've found your spot & settled down you don't really notice - especially when you're asleep. The pool bar was within easy access for beverages during the day & there are plenty of self service drinks stations scattered around the complex - all soft drinks, all hot drinks, Cruzcampo beer, red white & rose wine, cava. Why people say you've got to pay for water when water is available at all drinks stations. Our only criticisms are they need more staff on the bar at night. If men have to wear trousers in restaurants at night why can women get away with wearing skimpy shorts & hotpants ? Overall a very relaxing enjoyable holiday, we don't go away to pick fault & moan about everything, we go away to unwind & that's exactly what we did. Would definitely return.More
