We stayed here 30/09/2017 for 10 days , we thought it would be cheap and cheerful as we were self catering , I would say it's a 1* the beds are so hard you get a bad back , the rooms are basic , we had cockroaches and ants in our room everyday even on our toothbrushes we even asked the manager to move us because of this problem as they were going in our suitcase , we had no food in the room just water as we were self catering so I can't imagine how bad it would be if you ate in !!! the shower went cold after minutes of being in there , around the pool the flooring is that bad there is cones so you don't cut your feet ,the hotel is on top of a hill we are young and this was hard for us everyday , you are a good 40 min walk from las Americas only good thing about this hotel is the view !! Pay the extra and go somewhere else it's not worth having a bad holidayMore
Not for people with breathing difficulties. Very hilly. Basic but clean. Pleasant staff. Food plain but found something to eat at every meal. Entertainment every night but mainly for children. Supermarket on site, prices the same as in town so no need to go far for provisions if only half board.More

All Inclusive of what?
Just had a week at Laguna Park 2. Short distance from the airport. Check in fairly straight forward, only one key to room could have done with a couple. many rooms have been updated to electronic key cards, our room still had a 'traditional' key. The room was alright, a little dated but still functional. No air conditioning, but there was a ceiling mounted fan in the bedroom, did not have much effect but then discovered it has different speeds, apart from the pull cord was broken..TV has no remote, you have to get one from reception for a deposit... Rooms cleaned regularly, bedding & towels replaced also. Beds not the most comfiest, but nothing is better than your own bed. Hardly any 'free' power sockets in the room, you have to unplug something - Only one power socket in the bedroom, other side of room to the bed! There is a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and fridge kitchenette in the room for self catering. Room was a bit noisy at night if back door was open due to noise from the bar etc. The food at the restaurant and at the pool bar is very repetitive, and not always the best in the restaurant; we found it 'hit and miss' and had to eat out several times during our stay. The selection was not appetizing, very basic and the chips were soggy at times. A bit disappointing really. There are many restaurants in town, some are good value with a decent selection of food on the menu. The main bar does not open until 18:00 and all inclusive stops at 22:30. Drinks and snacks available at the pool bar and restaurant, both which have their own opening times. We had several drinks and snacks whilst around the pool area, which is a saltwater pool of different depths, the tiled area around the pool has many cracked & broken tiles, however a few were being replaced on the last day. One of the step ladders into the pool was quite loose, not good when you are trying to get in and out of the pool! Plenty of sun-loungers around the pool area, and also parasol umbrellas. There are a lot of steps in the complex, again some are cracked, the complex is in need of refurbishment, however i appreciate the size of the complex and that not all work can be done in summer without inconveniencing guests. A 'tiring' walk to and from the pool area and restaurant, particularly if you just want a snack or drink. The steps would overload your fit-bit! Slope down to the restaurant also. No wonder staff drive round on golf buggies! Think I lost weight with all the walking up and down stairs, good exercise, The drinks are in 200ml plastic cups, so you're always getting up for another. It is a shame the all inclusive stops at 22:30, as we would have stayed in the bar and watched some entertainment. Some of the entertainment advertised wasn't very appealing either so we chose to have a drink and go out at night. There was no daytime entertainment around the pool. Bit of a walk down hill into town, couldn't walk back up but taxi's don't cost too much, you wouldn't want to walk to and from some places as its too far. There is a games room next to the bar, some machines are dated and some didn't work. There is meant to be wi-fi in the games room, but this didn't work either. There are some nice views from the complex. Enquired about keeping the room longer on the last day as we weren't leaving until around 16:00 but told to ask early on the day of departure, but room was not available so we had to leave the room by 12:00, we were offered use of a storage room to the luggage until we left. On this day it was too hot to be outside in the sun so had to sit by the pool bar in the shade after the restaurant closed. There is a shop next door to the hotel, handy if you need something or need to buy a drinks or snacks to keep in your room to save walking to and from the pool bar! Laguna Park 1 is in town, a lot closer to everything where as Laguna Park 2 is just out of town. I will return to Tenerife, I may return to Laguna Park 2, or may give 1 a try, but sadly won't be going all inclusive again. The food offered doesn't justify the cost of all inclusive over self catering. I could have saved a fair bit of money just by being self catering. Better off using having a room and just using it as a base.More
I went here with my husband for a week all inclusive. The room was fine but the bathroom smelt really bad of urine ,beds were hard and a tad uncomfortable. The outside were kept clean and where washed down every day The hotel is up a bit of a hill, and was steep in the complex, but it does have fantastic views. The food is as bad as people say it is and I did struggle with it , the blonde haired waitress was very lovely always said hello, the restaurant reminded me of a greasy spoon layout with all the plastic tables etc, but you get what you pay for here so don’t expect posh nosh because you won’t get it . I did like the complex and would return ,just in my opinion needs a little TLC in some areas , would return here but on a different board basis . There was no air conditioning in our room , so it was uncomfortable as it was really hot. More

We have just come back from a 10 night stay from the 2/10/17 - 12/10/17 an like someone has already wrote in a review we were sold this holiday as a 3star an found out it was only a 2star hotel. I have severe arthritis in both my hips an found this out after we booked the hotel so I was prepared for the hills etc this hotel is no good for the elderly or disabled as its set on a VERY steep hill, we asked at reception if we could change rooms to be told to go back the following day to see the reception manager as the woman on reception couldn't help an said we would only be moved if there was availability. The rooms are very basic the beds are hard there were cockroaches an lots of little ants especially around the sink an in the bathroom. The rooms weren't cleaned properly the cleaners came in every other day an bed sheets were changed every 4days. This hotel was rubbish for all inclusive an the all inclusive stopped at 10.30pm although u could still buy your drinks etc. The only good comment I can really put is that u weren't fighting for a sunbed around the pool however the pool area was never cleaned properly an there were cockroaches the guy who was supposed to keep the pool itself clean was always miserable an never cracked a smile lol the tiles on the floor were cracked an loose an u had to be carful where u walked. The ice creams u had to pay for as with the slushes an they put on one cocktail of the day the plastic cups were small so I brought some slightly bigger ones an the old guy who worked at the pool bar told me off for using my own cups I did point out to him mine were just slightly bigger but he wasn't interested. The entertainment was boring an very repetitive, in a small room, was very loud an u could hardly hear yourself think tables were always filthy an full of half drunk glasses an didn't look clean so me an my fiancé went out every night. Food was very repetitive and not much choice an I'm not a fussy eater the themed nights were very much like normal nights the staff do work hard in the restaurant an they were the most friendliest staff on the complex. The food at the pool bar was edible only just as even the local cats (which there was a lot of them) didn't eat our leftovers. All in all this hotel should be a 1 star or not even that an should be avoided at all costs needless to say we will NOT be going back.More
