GETTING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT
- Verona Villafranca Airport is located 12km from Verona city centre and is accessible via the SR62 and SS12 dual carriageways.
- For access to Milan and Venice, take the A4 Autostrade (motorway).
- For access to the Dolomites or south to Modena, take the A22 Autostrade (motorway).
- The nearest train station is Porta Nuova in Verona - a 15-minute bus or taxi journey from the airport.
- Trains run between Porta Nuova and destinations including Milan, Venice, Lake Garda and Florence.
- Tickets can be bought at the station, or in advance at www.trenitalia.com.
- An aerobus shuttle service is available from outside the arrival terminal.
- The shuttle service runs approximately every 15 minutes during the day to and from the Porta Nuova train station. This costs approximately €6 per person each way.
- From the airport and the train station, you can catch buses to Lake Garda and other cities and towns throughout Northern Italy.
- Taxis are often available from the taxi rank just outside the arrival terminal building.
- It's around a 20 to 25-minute journey to Verona city centre by taxi.
- Nearly all taxis run on a meter and can only give an estimate of the fare before setting off.
