The Hotel K5 Levi is only five minutes’ walk from the nearest chairlifts, so it’s a popular base for skiers. Mountain views are the cherry on top.

For meals, there’s an authentic sámi gammi – a sunken turf-topped hut – in the grounds. Here, traditional dishes are cooked on an open fire. Later on, you can sip drinks in the lobby lounge, which looks like the crystal dome, with floor-to-ceiling windows for viewing the night sky.

Your Itinerary

ARRIVE IN KITTILA

You’ll get a traditional cooked English breakfast on your flight to Lapland. Once you’ve landed at Kittila Airport, you’ll be greeted by Santa’s elves who will whisk you off to collect your thermal clothing before taking you to your hotel. The afternoon’s free for you to get a feel for the place.
TASTER SESSIONS

You’ll be heading out on a short husky-sledge ride taster session today, or a snowmobile sleigh ride. If you’d prefer, you can try your hand at making Christmas ornaments. Then you’ve got some free time this afternoon, so you can spend some time in the snow, or book an extra TUI experience – just make sure you book it before you go so you don’t risk missing out. The agenda looks a little different if you’ve booked a three-night trip that starts on a Monday – you’ll be off out for a day of festive fun, and later on you’ll be meeting up with Santa’s Elves, Mrs Claus and Santa Claus himself.
FREE TIME/FESTIVE FUN/TASTER SESSIONS

If you’ve booked a four-night trip that starts on a Wednesday, today’s free to do as you please. There’s an action-packed day in store if you’re on a three-night trip that starts on a Sunday – it kicks off with a list of festive-fun activities and it’s followed up with your meeting with Santa and his elves. Plus, it’s time for your festive finale this evening. If you’re on a four-night trip that starts on a Thursday, today’s agenda’s filled with festive activities and your meeting with Santa Claus. Meanwhile, those on a three-night trip that starts on a Monday can enjoy their husky-sledge ride or snowmobile sleigh ride taster sessions today followed up by a festive finale this evening.
FLY HOME/FESTIVE FUN/FREE TIME

Whether you stayed for three or four nights, you’ll get a festive Christmas dinner on your flight back home. For those on a three-night trip, it’s time to head back to the airport today ready for your flight home. Or, if you’re on a four-night trip that starts on a Wednesday, today’s agenda kicks off with festive activities followed by your meeting with Santa and your festive finale. If your trip started on Thursday, you’ve got a day of free time to do as you please. Your festive finale will take place this evening, too – just remember, you’ll need to hand your thermal clothing back in before you head for dinner.
FLY HOME

If you’re on a four-night trip, it’s time to pack your things and head back to the airport today ready for your flight home.

A perfect Lapland stay!

Wonderful stay at this hotel which is in a fantastic location for exploring Levi. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a split level room which was great for our 9 year old to have his own space. There is a sauna in the bathroom as well as a drying cupboard in the room so you don’t need to worry about any wet clothes. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, served in a buffet style. It’s lovely having the reindeer on site and being able to feed them was a delight. We also got the key to the Koti and went in, lit the fire and roasted some marshmallows.

Thank you to K5. We stayed for 2 nights last week (18th - 20th Dec) and we are super grateful for the hotel and staff of K5. The location is perfect, with only a short walk to the centre of the town. The staff are helpful. The rooms are clean and ours had a great split-level layout, which was super fun for our nine-year-old daughter. They have five reindeer in the back garden which you can feed and pet. The breakfast is easy and a great way to start the day. The afternoon/evening was super chilled and cozy-just what you want when returning from a day out in the snow. All in all, we are super grateful to have found this hotel and stay here during our magical trip to Lapland.

I had to write a review as I normally don't. Hotel k5 levi has been absolutely fantastic. Wonderful kind staff. Very clean rooms. Room service every day. Great breakfast buffet and evening buffet. Easy walk to everything you need. Highly recommend

Reindeer in the back yard

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we heard it's possible to see the reindeer at their back yard, so we drove there. A group of 7 reindeer in a large enclosure at the back of the hotel is easily accessible. You can buy some lichen for them at the reception/bar area for 8€ and the reindeer will happily munch it off your hand. A great option to see these cute animals up close.

Always a great stay

This was our 5th stay at the K5 hotel and I’m not sure I’d stay anywhere else. We’ve stayed in the hotel and cabins and both are great. This time we stayed in a cabin. It had everything we needed and was lovely and warm despite very cold outside temperatures. The staff are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed using the bar of an evening. The kids always enjoy feeding the reindeer out the back. It’s an ideal location for exploring Levi, walking distance to the slopes, restaurants, supermarket and excursion pick up points.
