With mountain views and ski slopes within strolling distance, this place wins big on location.

The Hotel K5 Levi is only five minutes’ walk from the nearest chairlifts, so it’s a popular base for skiers. Dramatic mountain views are the cherry on top.

For meals, there’s an authentic sámi gammi – a sunken turf-topped hut – in the grounds. Here, traditional dishes are cooked on an open fire. Later on, you can sip drinks in the lobby lounge, which looks like the crystal dome, with floor-to-ceiling windows for viewing the night sky.

Your Itinerary

ARRIVE IN KITTILA

Once you’ve landed at Kittila Airport, you’ll be greeted by Santa’s elves who will whisk you off to collect your thermal clothing before taking you to your hotel. The afternoon’s free for you to get a feel for the place.
TASTER SESSIONS

You’ll be heading out on a short husky-sledge ride taster session today, or a snowmobile sleigh ride. If you’d prefer, you can try your hand at making Christmas ornaments. Then you’ve got some free time this afternoon, so you can spend some time in the snow, or book an extra TUI experience – just make sure you book it before you go so you don’t risk missing out. The agenda looks a little different if you’ve booked a three-night trip that starts on a Monday – you’ll be off out for a day of festive fun, and later on you’ll be meeting up with Santa’s Elves, Mrs Claus and Santa Claus himself.
FREE TIME/FESTIVE FUN/TASTER SESSIONS

If you’ve booked a four-night trip that starts on a Wednesday, today’s free to do as you please. There’s an action-packed day in store if you’re on a three-night trip that starts on a Sunday – it kicks off with a list of festive-fun activities and it’s followed up with your meeting with Santa and his elves. Plus, it’s time for your festive finale this evening. If you’re on a four-night trip that starts on a Thursday, today’s agenda’s filled with festive activities and your meeting with Santa Claus. Meanwhile, those on a three-night trip that starts on a Monday can enjoy their husky-sledge ride or snowmobile sleigh ride taster sessions today followed up by a festive finale this evening.
FLY HOME/FESTIVE FUN/FREE TIME

For those on a three-night trip, it’s time to head back to the airport today ready for your flight home. Or, if you’re on a four-night trip that starts on a Wednesday, today’s agenda kicks off with festive activities followed by your meeting with Santa and your festive finale. If your trip started on Thursday, you’ve got a day of free time to do as you please. Your festive finale will take place this evening, too – just remember, you’ll need to hand your thermal clothing back in before you head for dinner.

If you’re on a four-night trip, it’s time to pack your things and head back to the airport today ready for your flight home.

We have stayed at most of the hotels in Levi over the years and this is one of our favourites. Rooms and facilities are clean and modern and excellent value compared to some other hotels in the area. Staff are all helpful and friendly and we never struggled to park our hire car. Breakfasts are buffet style and are on par with other hotels in the area for range and quality of food. Excellent views at the rear of the building of their large reindeer pen.

We keep coming back to Levi and the K5 Cabins, it’s just a great spot. We always go for the half board option the food is always of a great standard and plenty of it which is want you want after a busy day skiing. The cabins are very spacious and have everything you could want even a sauna. The town and ski area are only a few minutes walk away. Hopefully we will be back there again soon

Lovely good value cabin close to magical Levi

Lovely good value cabin in Levi, conveniently located close to the town and ski slopes. It was also close by the frozen lake which was perfect for viewing the Northern Lights. The cabin had a few niggles but these were quickly rectified by the hotel. We loved K5 Levi and have booked to return next year!

Incredible cabin for our family’s first stay in Lapland. Well thought out layout with everything you could need. Underfloor heating was great and drying cupboard so useful. So spacious! Always toasty and warm and such a cosy feel. Fabulous location too. Thank you for making our first stay so magical. We will definitely be back.

Average hotel with pleasant staff, but the only thing that lets this hotel down is the food, or the lack of it. You only have a few options which was poor at the best, both breakfast and evening meal so your better off going B&B. No atmosphere in hotel and the bar staff didn’t have a clue on working the bar, that’s if you can find them. Good points.. room cleaned daily, sauna in room and hotel close to town and the lake.. Would i stay here again??? At a push yes
