Ski slopes, snowshoe trails and ice-fishing lakes are right on your doorstep when you stay at the Lapland Hotel Sirkantähti – it’s in the heart of Levi village.

Twin rooms come with a sauna, while apartments are designed with families in mind. Whichever you choose, you’ll get ultra-cosy interiors that pair pine-green lounge chairs with berry-coloured bedspreads.

ARRIVE IN KITTILA

You’ll get a traditional cooked English breakfast on your flight to Lapland. Once you’ve landed at Kittila Airport, you’ll be greeted by Santa’s elves who will whisk you off to collect your thermal clothing before taking you to your hotel. The afternoon’s free for you to get a feel for the place.
TASTER SESSIONS AND TIME TO MEET SANTA

Today you’ll head out to Santa’s activity area in the Kittila countryside for a day of festive fun. You’ll head out on a short husky-sledge ride, or a snowmobile sleigh ride. For something at a slower pace, you can try your hand at making Christmas ornaments. A visit to Santa tops off this action-packed day out.
FREE TIME/FESTIVE FINALE

The day’s yours to explore today. You can get involved in a snowball fight, or book a trip and head out on a husky or reindeer-driven sleigh. If you’re staying for four nights, there’s an option to add on a hunt for the Northern Lights, too – just make sure you book in your TUI experiences before you go so you don’t risk missing out. For those on a three-night trip, it’s time to hand your thermal clothing in today before your festive finale, which will feature a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
FLY HOME/FESTIVE FINALE

Whether you stayed for three or four nights, you’ll get a festive Christmas dinner on your flight back home. If you’re on a three-night trip, it’s time to head back to the airport today for your flight home. Or, if you’re staying for four nights, you’ll have a free day to explore and fit in anything else you’ve missed earlier on in your stay. Later, it’s time to hand your thermal clothing in before your festive finale this evening.

This restaurant oozes warmth and snugness in its decor and ambience. You'll find antler chandeliers, wooden flooring and a roasting open-fire, too. The menu lists Caesar salads, soup, burgers, sautéed reindeer and ice-cream. If you'd like to treat yourself to a warming winter tipple there's a bar* just alongside.
Gala dinner
The gala dinner is served as a buffet, that offers starters from pâté on toast to fresh salad. Meat such as turkey and a ham joint are for the main course, complemented by a selection of seasonal vegetables. And last but not least, a range of desserts including cake wrap things up. Low-key family games are on the agenda later on in the evening.

Guests can check-in at the hotel's reception. There's also a couple of comfy chairs, a cosy fireplace and free Wi-Fi in this area, too.

Annexe Duplex Family Room with Terrace and Sauna
These annexe duplex family rooms can sleep up to 6 and come with a terrace, sauna and kitchenette. Please note, these rooms can be found in the Levi Star block which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the main building.
Annexe Duplex Studio with Sauna
These annexe duplex studios can occupy up to 4 guests, and are designed with comfort in mind, and warm tones in its decor. You'll have twin beds in the loft, plus 1 extra bed in the bedroom and a shower, too. There's a lounge area which has a bed as well. Your kitchenette comes with cupboards for storage space, and tea or coffee facilities. The real wow-factor is that you'll have a sauna within your studio. Please note, you'll find these annexe duplex studios in the Levi Star block which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the main building.

Cosy Stay at Lapland Hotels Sirkantähti - September 2024

My wife and I stayed at the hotel the first week of September 2024 and had a lovely experience. We chose the hotel because we had delightful stay at the hotel for a couple of days in Summer 2022. We chose to go with half-board this time around as it met our needs. We found that the entire staff: from the mnagement team, to the receptionists, to the chef, the waitresses and the entire kitchen team were very friendly and eager to meet our needs. The receptionists and management team were full of useful information and resourceful when they did not have the information available when we asked about e.g. activities and travel information. We enjoyed the sauna in our room that is also in all of the hotel rooms. The food was scrumptious and plentiful whether it was breakfast or dinner. Additionally, we enjoyed the variety of the food and local specialties as well. It was a cosy stay and we will indeed be back for another stay.

It was honestly amazing. I went with my mum and dad and my two sisters, along with My auntie, uncle and Grandma. It was so magical and perfect! I highly recommend. They also provide sledges at the front and you can sledge down a mini hill which is where the ski hills are! There was also a snow tubing place and there’s a free bus that takes you there, and the food and shops were amazing!

Not value for money in the annex

We stayed for 4 nights and was in the annex accommodation. This was not suitable for a young family and we ended up having to sleep on the floor due to unsafe steps for a young child. We didn't appreciate how far the annex was when booking, since we were not given a precise location. As such we did not visit the main hotel except for transfer pick ups. We missed out on our included breakfast due to the hassle of dressing for the -30 degree weather. We loved our lapland holiday, but just used this hotel as a place to lay our heads down. We would love to return to Levi but would definitely pick a different hotel.

Fine for 2 nights

We booked this hotel direct for 2 nights pros:- location, breakfast something for everyone, sledges outside provided by hotel, room allocated within main building, sauna in room and drying cabinet. Bus stop right outside for airport and slopes. cons:- our room was left open after room cleaning, (I reported and was told they would inform the team). Could have been a very different story as had electronics, passports left in there. They also left a note on the bed saying couldn't make our beds due to personal belongings on them (i.e. pyjamas and a jumper!) The loft room has steep steps with a gate at the top my children were older so not a problem but may bother some. Also when we were checking our room for everything upon leaving their was food under the bed that definitely wasn't ours this left us feeling like the room had not been cleaned thoroughly between guests.

Great Lapland trip but disappointing accommodation

Would like to give a higher rating as we had a wonderful 3 night trip to Levi but accommodation was disappointing. When booking through Tui it was not clear that we were not staying in the hotel. Was a 10 minute walk away from the main hotel, across a road, which was inconvenient as one adult with a young child in snowy conditions. When I asked if anything could be done was told a straight no by the receptionist. No Wi-Fi or internal phone to call the hotel in our apartment. Was very basic and more suited to self catering. Sauna did not work, and on our second day had no hot water for a shower. Shower leaked and soaked the bathroom floor. Was opposite a garage/supermarket so felt quite lonely and not part of the hotel complex. Was unsure the door locked properly when inside so had to put a chair and table against it to feel more secure. Friends were staying in the main hotel and had a much nicer and convenient room. Had to try to explain to my child why we did not have decorations and Christmas lights in our accommodation like them. Positive things are great location for the town and ski/sledging slope, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff. Would love to visit Levi again but unlikely to return to this hotel or book with Tui.
