    ABOUT THE HOTEL

    • Official Rating

The Levi Panorama is set high on a snowy hillside, with excellent ski slopes and Levi village on your doorstep.

If you haven’t already guessed by the name, cinematic views are what this place majors in. Everything from the restaurants to the seventh-floor saunas look out over the snow-dusted landscape.

The property is wedged into the white stuff on the side of a fell that leads down to Levi – a ski lift connects you to the village. Its slope-side position puts you in touching distance of Finland’s top ski and snowboard runs.

Holidays here come with our Hotel rep and 24/7 Online service.

    Your Itinerary

    • Arrive in Kittila

Santa's elves will take you to your hotel in Levi, Pallas or Yllas. You'll pick up snow clothes on the way to the resort. Then, you'll have a free afternoon to get a feel for your surroundings. Grab a toboggan and make a beeline for the snow, or take a walk through the snowy countryside.

    • Get a crash course in Lappish culture

On this activity, you’ll take a short husky sleigh ride, and have a go being pulled on a sleigh from the back of a snowmobile. You can pay a bit extra to see an Arctic Circle crossing ceremony, too. You can spend the rest of day however you like – wrap up and play in the snow or relax in your hotel.

    • Take your pick

Cruise through the countryside by driving a snowmobile, or sit back and relax on a sleigh as huskies lead the way.

    • Festive Fun

There’s a line-up of festive fun activities on day two’s agenda. Plus, you’ll get to meet all of Santa’s elves, and of course Mrs Claus. Then, you’ll top your day off with a face-to-face meeting with Santa himself.

    Good view, questionable food
    23 Jun , 2022 jott2017, 188049
The hotel Levi panorama offers a very good view and the welcoming of the staff was very friendly. In mid-June, the ski hotel was almost empty. The rooms are more or less functionally designed, but the bathroom is very nice. The most disappointing was the breakfast, as the quality of the scrambled eggs and the milk was questionable. Only the breakfast, the rating would go down to 2 stars. Still, the view of the "gold digger" in the 7th floor is stunning.
Nice location let down by some staff and guest “class system.
    14 Feb , 2022 MrGreenHampshire, 186299
This hotel has all the ingredients of a great location but somehow it fails in many ways. Location, beautiful spot up the fell with lift access from the village, great views from outside the restaurant but very limited from inside the the hotel. The hotel rooms are split with slope view and car park view. The chalet rooms look at the road or the car park. The bar looks out to the car park, parts of the restaurant have views to the slope and horizon but they are limited to maybe 15 tables? Apparently there is a bar on the upper floor but this was closed and speaking to the staff, they were also unclear as to why… hotel panorama but with very limited panorama views?? Food. The breakfast was poor and always the same, continental breakfast, how can you go wrong? Cooked offering, always the same, lacking flavour, variety or quality. Tea and coffee cups that are so small they are all but useless. We did not have the buffet lunch (which is for half board guests) but would guess similar based on what other guests were saying. Food from the bar was reasonable, nothing amazing but reasonable quality and not crazy priced. Staff, very mixed. some could not care for customer services, others went beyond the expected. Seems that the more senior the staff the less interested you are. Cleaners and bar staff were super one receptions was brilliant, one was simply awful and should not have a role facing customers! And… on to the class system….. Top tier, god like status.. any guest with any connection to the Porsche Experience centre. Apparently this gives you supreme status at the hotel with absolute power over staff.. restaurant tables blocked for you, separate rooms and areas with no public access, staff walking around in branded clothing only for the benefit of their guests at the hotel. I suspect the hotel is part funded by the Porsche centre and many staff and guests treat it as their own resort.. Middle tier. Hotel guests, looked after like hotels guests. Bottom tier, chalet guests. Considered a massive inconvenience to the hotel and its staff. Pre payment of food and drinks required (no card taken for account closing on check out) receptionist reluctant to provide the lock and key for ski storage, then been more annoyed when I returned with said lock which was not functioning… only actions taken on simple maintained issues at the third time of asking and even then, by one receptionist who took it upon herself… A very strange and unnecessary ethos in the hotel but something that clearly stems from the top and is pushed by a feeling of entitlement from staff members around the hotel. To be clear, there are some great staff, just overshadowed by others… The chalet rooms are well equipped, nice touch with the sauna and a nice place to spend time, they are noisy…. People walking around in ski boots can be heard and felt through walls and ceilings. Views are limited to the road or the car park but look past the immediate and at least you can see some beautiful forest and snow covered trees! I have left aside costs as everything in Finland is expensive.. value for money. I would say no, but excessive, not really considering the location, if they improved the service and offering this place should be amazing but it would need a cultural shake up with some staff. Did we enjoy our time in Levi? Yes and as a base the hotel was ok but we enjoyed our holiday despite the hotel, not because of the hotel. Would we return? no… better hotels / chalets in the village without the stuffiness of the panorama and it’s Porsche experience connection.
Lovely hotel but wouldn’t do package deal again
    21 Dec , 2021 Maps05737909933, 1840395
Stayed here for 3 nights December 21. As part of a TUI package deal. I was sceptical about going with TUI and package deals. But overall was very impressed. The hotel is beautifully located at the top of the slope, and the hotel provides you with a gondola pass to the bottom of the slope and back up, which we used often. Doesn’t cover the last day though. At the bottom of the slope is a ski hire shop, always plenty available but no last minute lessons available so book ahead if you want any lessons with the ski school. There is kids land at the far left of the slopes, where there is a beginners slope and button lift, all free to use. Places to eat are plenty, we went bed and breakfast, many people that stayed half board commented that the food wasn’t great and ate out, so tip to stay bed and breakfast. As part of TUI trip you get lunch with the Father Christmas village and you get an evening meal as part of the festive finale, so overall we only ate out a few times so I imagine that makes half board even less worth it. If you do eat out highly recommend conti pizza and pancake house!! Conti pizza is at the bottom across from the slopes, pancake house is just a short walk straight through the little Main Street opposite the slopes. If we came back wouldn’t do a package deal, but would definitely come to Levi again & stay in a lodge. Being with TUI we ended up totally relying on their itinerary and would have liked more freedom. Christmas village was ok, nothing overly special and only there for about 90 minutes. Then on way home we ended up at the airport over 3 hours before our flight. Which seems excessive being a trip designed for children, no child wants to spend that much time at the airport waiting. You also have to return the snow suits the night before, for my little boy he would have loved to have spent that time sledding. Snow suits, boots and socks provided, they are ok, smelt a little of smoke, were too big and not as thick as our ski clothes, so would recommend taking your own if you have some. The boots are also well worn. There are sleds everywhere that people have left, so don’t need to invest in one. The rooms in the hotel were blank and no hint of Christmas, would have been great to see them decorated for our little boy especially being part of a Santa trip.
    Family holiday - fabulous apartment
    21 Dec , 2021 jacquelinecY8553WY
Beautiful location, 2 bedroom apartment was spacious yet very cosy. Hotel itself is lovely. Food is good with lots of choice - lots of Finnish food so that may not be for everyone. Cable car is great but for a change walking down the 700+ steps to Zero point is a must .

Amazing time with the family, Sunday 12th - Wednesday 15th December I think we picked the right hotel as well, we didnt experience the other hotels but the fact you can take the gondola down the slopes to the village was an added bonus and the hotel supply you with tickets for it during your stay. Superb way to get up and down. Lots of sledges around the hotel for your kids to use. I would say the buffet meals at the hotel are definitely short on different options especially for kids, we were half board which I think was a waste as we ate at the hotel Sunday night, we didn’t think much of it so decided to eat at Koti Pizza on the Monday night at the bottom of the slopes in the village and it was very nice food and great value for money, we had the finale meal on the Tuesday which was simply outstanding at the hotel so on reflection for our half board we ate once at the hotel and it wasn’t for us. The reps and elves are in a plenty from the moment you step off the plane and are all amazing fun. The taster trip gives you a little taste of a husky ride and a snowmobile ride which is great until you see the prices of the extra excursions, we booked the husky park for two adults and two kids which was €490, very very pricey imo but the trip is once in a lifetime for us and tbh the park was actually amazing (still not convinced of the huge price though) the village to walk around is amazing and around 7-8pm at night the ski slope closes for skiers and lots of people make their way to the slopes with the kids and sledges so do try it and keep it in mind, just grab a sledge or two from outside the hotel and you will have bags of fun. The snowsuits, boots and socks provide are perfect for the weather and we found we had taken far too much warm clothing that we never actually got around to wearing, joggers or a t shirt under the snowsuit was more than enough and when you ate on buses to excursions you will definately need to keep the top end of the snowsuit tied around your waist as the buses are very warm. Not to forget the biggest reason we are all heading to Lapland is to see the big man himself and the visit to Santa’s village is unbelievable for everyone adults and kids haha. We had originally booked a day trip for around £2k last year and when it was cancelled due to covid we upgraded to the 3 nights, it was still expensive but so so glad we done it as the day trip would maybe be too quick and exhausting. We were gutted there was pretty much 100% cloud cover whilst we were there so no opportunity to see the Northern Lights but hopefully if you go then you get that chance. We would 100% love to go back one day stunning place and I’ve added just a few pictures of the hotel from outside and the bottom of the slope, I don’t want to spoil too much lol
