Mr James Cavanagh
Arrived very late but was created with a very helpful reception gentleman Who advised us that the food area was closed . He then directed us to where we could buy some hot food . In our first morning we found the Supermercado a large establishment that any possible item you would need during your stay can be bought.also the cheapest shops in town are the Supermercado shops. First day breakfast a full English fried eggs sausage beans tomatoes black pudding if you ask you can have other options from the menu. The food is extensive and varied with a chef's special that is posted daily on a notice board. Service by the local staff was perfect and the facility room was kept clean by the hard working room cleaning ladies. The drink at the bar was fairly priced same as other places. The accommodation our bedroomwas a little tight to move around in and sometimes the rubber bed cover let's you slide off the bed but otherwise this was acceptable for a fairly large establishment Would we advise others to go there or go there again without a doubt. Don't expect five star treatment because this place is good if you want to be there and just hide away from the rat race if life just the place. Also very good for children. More

I speak as I find... this place was dreadful.. so untidy & in need of a clean. We were so disopointed with our stay. It's that bad we've opened a dispute with Thomsons. I'm sure you will get the idea from the pictures. More
We arrived at the hotel at 11.30am the reception staff were helpful and friendly but informed us that are room would not be available until 12 which was fine as most check ins are at 12pm. 1.30 we were still not in our room. Once we got to our room we unpacked then went back to reception to ask about safe, wifi and air con. We were informed that wifi was £10. a week per device but you could only get a signal in bar or around pool area so we left out wifi. Now here is the shocker for the safe and air con we paid 140 euros yes you heard right so beware. The bar offered good value food but you get what you pay for. We chose to eat elsewhere. The bar prices are average for the area about £2.80 a pint but if you wanted something like vodka red bull you will have to pay around £6.50. They are very sparse when giving you a short we tried it with ice and without and you only get a small amount its the same in every bar and restaurant. I have been to other parts of Spain and they fill the glass half way they don't in Alcudia. One night we decided to have a last drink at hotel and we ordered 2 vodkas and the lady said would we like a little more we agreed and she charged accordingly £20.00 for to beers and 2 vodkas. Now the pool area ahh if you like jumping into a bag of ice then you will be fine its the coldest pool I have ever ventured into. The sun beds had no cushioned covers and were very flimsy. The pool looked nice in the evenings with the disco lights but don't be fooled by pictures. The cleaners only clean your room on the third day if you could call it cleaning. You have to take your own rubbish to the bins which are near the bar area. The entertainment was a bit of a joke the entertainer was not really an entertainer she told us that she had worked in Witherspoons previously and wanted to have ago at the entertainment but had had enough and could not wait to go back home. They had the usual bingo, Karaoke. The bingo was not for cash only voucher which did not match the money they were taking another good earner for the hotel. Again we went elsewhere for the entertainment. If you get bitten by Mozzies this area is not the place for you I never get bit when I am abroad I did here on a daily basis the area is surrounded by lakes and canals. The hotel is about just over a mile to any shops and bars. There are a couple in the area and a supermarket but if you want choice you have to walk. My opinion of the hotel once you are in they were trying to get every euro out of you. You can upgrade to half board if you wanted. The staff were all friendly enough.More

Do not listen to the bad reviews
I have to admit that when I looked at some of the comments about this accommodation I was relay thinking of changing my booking BUT I'm so glad I didn't. This accommodation is just so lovely the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, our room was cleaned 3 times in the 2 weeks we stayed and if you need spare pillows or towels you only have to ask the cleaners or at reception. The food was very nice and cooked well. It is a bit if a walk to the beach and main shops, about 20 to 30 minutes if you are a slow walker but there is some bars and small shops just around the corner from the accommodation with a supermarket only a few minutes walk that U can get your every day things like milk and bread. The holiday/visitors tax cost us 46euros for 4 adults for 2weeks. I no it says the WiFi can only be used at the reception and bar but my son had a iPhone 7+ and could use the WiFi in our apartment. A taxi to the old part of Arcadia for the market on Sunday cost us 6:50 euros. All in all I have to say that our stay here was VERY VERY nice and we would come again xMore
