This place teams a family-friendly pool scene with a prime spot in the centre of town. Plus, it's looking fresh after a top-to-bottom refurb.
Location-wise, this new addition to SuneoClub is a real winner. You’ll find it in the middle of Costa Teguise, so you’re footsteps away from shops, bars and restaurants. And it’s five minutes’ from Las Cucharas beach.
El Trebol got a complete makeover for November 2016, so expect rooms with an up-to-the-minute feel. We’re talking white walls paired with neon-orange furnishings, like pillows, throws and rugs.

First holiday in Lanzarote
Just home from a lovely 10 day break at " The El Trebol " hotel. If you're thinking more of an adult break this may not be the hotel for you. I couldn't believe the amount of children here, as far as I was aware no school breaks for the beginning of October. This hotel definitely specialises in FAMILIES with young children, evening entertainment is non existent for couples although there is an "adult only bar ". We spent a few nights in the bar round the corner " Cactus Jack ". Very enjoyable, quizzes, music etc and happy hour from 7.30 - 9.30. We were all inclusive, expected a bit more. The hotel DOES NOT supply pool towels, in my opinion this isn't all inclusive, we had to buy, no hassle but be mindful of your weight allowance if planning to take them home. Housekeeping wasn't on a daily basis so don't be quick to chuck your bath towels on the floor expecting fresh ones as we did. I say BATH, l would say ladies if you're more curvaceous they're not generous for coverage). Take your own shower cap as not provided, kettle and remote control will be provided for a €15 deposit, refundable on departure. Food was brilliant, something for everyone, nice size dining area only thing that spoilt it for us was screaming kids. ( note to self, research more lol ) We booked a trip from the hotel tour operator, an evening Wild West show. We paid a deposit of €12, the remaining €64 to be paid on arrival, she wrote this amount on our receipt. When we arrived we were surprised we had to pay a further €14 for bus as the lady at the hotel failed to advise us this wasn't included in the total cost. Just as well we took extra cash as drinks and meal were included. We left it a bit late to go back to the tour operator in the hotel as they were closed for the evening. All being said we did have a very enjoyable time but definitely more suited for young families. If you dread the coach transfers to and from the airport you can make your own way via taxi, approx 20 minutes max ( traffic dependant ) €20 each way. More

Good value for money
We went to El Trebol, 2 adults and our 3 year old. The room was plenty big enough, double bed and a sofa pull out bed. Every room has a pool view which is nice. We didn't pay much for the all inclusive so wasn't expecting much however for what we paid we were happy with what we got. There was plenty of sun beds and pools for everyone so no getting up early to reserve a spot. The food is good, plenty of choice. Full English breakfast, yoghurt, cereal, cakes, pancakes and fruit for breakfast. The pool bar has drinks and burgers, chips etc all day. Lunch - pasta, chicken, pizza lots of choose and again lots of choice for dinner. We even had a Sunday lunch which was nice. The entertainment was good for the children. A short walk from the hotel are some shops on the seafront and you can walk along the front to the town which has more shops and bars. Overall we couldn't fault this hotel especially for what we paid. I More

Arrived at hotel on 17th september for 2 weeks. Was 1 hour late leaving manchester. Arrived hotel around 23.20. Check in was straightforward. Asked reception if could get something to eat as was told a light snack was provided for late arrivials. He said no everything closed. Asked about getting a drink yet again he said no. Next morning at welcome meeting kyle the rep said light snack should of been offered and the adults only bar was open until 01.00 so we could bought a drink then as all inclusive finishes at 23.30. Hotel itself is nice, room was spaceous. Food was often cold and many guests complained to rep. Few days later big bosses came in and next day food was hot. Drinks were not much better depending on what tipple u like. Spent most my first week eating out and buying my own drinks. Entertainment is excellent for kids in day and night. Not really much entertainment for adults. Plenty of shops around and beach is only 5-10 walk. Got local bus to costa teguise market on sumday. It is a massive market. Number 11 bus takes u there. Booked a trip through thomsons rep to Ranchos texas cost 45 euros for adults which included a excellent meal and flowing drinks all evening. More
We stayed in a 1 bed apartment with a view of the shallow pool. There was ample storage space in the bedroom. The bathroom was reasonable size. The lounge area included a dining room table and four chairs. There rooms come with a small kitchenette area with a fridge. The balcony can be accessed from either the lounge or the bedroom. All apartments have Samsung TVs. However the remote is not issued as a standard. You have to hire a remote for €5 which is refundable upon checkout. The same for a kettle and an iron. There is no elevator at the hotel. Some of the rooms on the first and second floor are accessed via metal staircases. The hotel grounds common areas and pools were all kept clean and tidy. The staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a four swimming pools. One exclusively for children with slides. There is a second pool for children which is very shallow. The large pool is standard with a shallow end and deep end. The fourth pool depth is one depth. Breakfast lunch and dinner or served in the dining room. There is a good choice of food and at each sitting there is food cooked to order. During breakfast this is usually fried eggs and pancakes. Lunchtimes it is usually a variety of meats and the same for dinner. During our stay there with the thematic nights consisting of Mexican, Italian and Sunday roast. There is an excellent offer of food each day they are fresh salads there are also separate salad items so that you can create your own. The staff are accommodating and clean up quickly and efficiently but I'm not intrusive. In addition there is a pool bar which is open during the day offering a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks together with snacks including burgers chips et cetera. The drinks on offer or a selection of local wines, lager and soft drinks including hot drinks in both the dining room and pool bar. The hotel also has a piano bar where cocktails are available. In addition there is a sports bar where the drinks are included with in the all-inclusive price until 11pm. In reception you will find a selection of books donated by past guests. The hotel also offers water polo table tennis a pool table and other activities throughout the day. Each evening there there is entertainment in the piano bar although this appears to be mainly for children and families. The local area was quite quiet however our trip was during October prior to the UK half term. Some parts of the immediate surrounding area of the hotel appeared to be a little tired. However we were staying on an all-inclusive basis therefore we had no need to eat out. The amenities where sufficient for our needs. The local spa was handy for bottled water. The beach is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. The beach is lined with various bars. To access the beach and the shops you exit the hotel via the piano bar rather than reception. Just outside the piano bar is and excursions office. However reception and the Reps or able to give you tips and information on bus routes times and locations. Upon arrival we were able to have an evening meal despite not checking in until after 10pm. On departure we had paid for a late checkout which was 6 PM. Even though we had checked out we were still able to use the facilities including having our evening meal before the coach collected us for transport to the airport. However for those people who have not paid for a late checkout the hotel to offer the use of a room for a one hour slot between checkout and the coach transfer to enable you to use the shower facilities and freshen up if you wish. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to stay there again. More
We stayed here from the 28/9- 5/10, family of 8 (had 2 rooms). I emailed the hotel in advance to request rooms together and on the 1st floor, I received a reply, they would try but couldn’t confirm my request. We arrived at about 8 in the evening, check in was quick, reception area clean and tidy, receptionist helpful, gave us a map and directions to our rooms (both together as requested) advised dinner finished at 9. Rooms were easy to find, large and clean with balconies overlooking pool. Maid service was questionable, they came nearly everyday, but apart from make the bed and mop the floor, I’m not sure what else they did. Not sure if we stayed at the same hotel as the other reviewers in regards to the pool, we saw the pool area washed down every night/day. Children’s pool was closed for a morning at most. Plenty of sun beds, loads of room, the odd sunbed snatcher that appeared at 7 in the morning. Food is always going to divide people, we found it okay, but by the end of the week, we were ready for something different, that said, there was always plenty of choice, helpful staff and drinks on tap. The entertainment team we found to be very helpful, organising activities, kids loved it. We would go back again. More
