We’re continuing to closely monitor the wildfires in Rhodes which led to the evacuation of a number of hotels in the South of the island and have made some changes to our holiday programme in the coming days. We appreciate that anyone travelling to Rhodes in the near future may be concerned about their holiday, and we want to keep you updated on our plans and will be in direct contact with customers if anything changes.
We will not be operating all outbound flights to Rhodes up to and including Friday 28th July.
NORTHERN RHODES
For those travelling to the North of Rhodes from Saturday 29 July, we want to reassure that hotels and resorts are fully operational and our team of TUI reps are offering their usual service. There will also be an excursion programme on offer for our customers who would like to explore.
We are however offering fee free amends to another holiday that’s available or the option to cancel for a full refund for those customers due to travel up to and including 30th July for all areas of Rhodes including the North of Rhodes.
We are still operating flights from Rhodes back to UK & Ireland as scheduled.
All flight-only customers due to travel on these impacted flights will receive full refunds, and package holiday customers will have the option to amend their booking or cancel with a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the booking being cancelled.
SOUTHERN RHODES
We are constantly reviewing the situation in the South of the island and have made the decision to offer customers travelling to impacted hotels up to and including 11th August to either rebook their holiday with a fee free change or cancel with a full refund. Customers travelling to the impacted hotels between the 12th and 21st August can amend fee free.
That said, please be assured that we’ll contact you directly as soon as possible if your hotel will not be operational. This includes customers who’ve booked a TUI package holiday which includes a non-TUI flight e.g. Aer Lingus. If you booked directly with TUI, you can contact us on 01 693 7700 or visit your local store. Please be aware that we are experiencing a high volume of queries at the moment. If you booked with a third party travel agent, please contact your agent directly.
The safety and well-being of our customers and teams remains our top priority.
