If you're really feeling adventurous you can try kitesurfing or water-skiing. Around the lake you'll also find a selection of exciting adventure parks where you can climb trees, cross rope bridges and zoom down zip lines.
Bellagio sits on a promontory jutting into the lake, and is known for its cobbled streets and beautiful villas. Don't miss the public gardens at the 15th-century Villa Serbelloni, or the Villa Melzi. The much-filmed Villa Balbianello is on the opposite side, and there are numerous islands which you can visit by boat. From the cosmopolitan city of Como, you might also take a trip to Milan for some designer shopping and the Duomo cathedral.
