You can fly direct to Majorca from Dublin, Shannon or Cork for your holidays to Santa Ponsa. You'll be in a lively resort with a Blue Flag beach, a jungle park and vibrant nightlife.
Holidaymakers have been attracted to Santa Ponsa's beach life since the 1950s. It's a lively resort on the western corner of the island, with plenty to do both day and night. The large beach boasts a Blue Flag for its amenities, and offers you over a kilometre of wide white sand. At night, you'll have a choice of international cuisine and a busy strip with late-night clubs and bars.
The sheltered bay is set under a mountain backdrop, where people have lived since the Bronze Age. You can walk up to their hilltop settlement for a great view from the archaeological park. Other active options away from the beach include tennis, a round of PGA golf, or zip-lining in the Jungle Park. The town has a small private marina, on the other side of the headland to the prestigious Port Adriano. You can walk across in 30 minutes, or drive in five, to admire the luxury yachts and to join in summer events here.
At neighbouring Magaluf, about 10 minutes' drive away, you'll find the Western Waterpark. This family waterpark has a Wild West theme and caters to all ages. If you are feeling more cosmopolitan, you can drive to Palma, the historic capital of Majorca, in less than half an hour.
