Holidays to Lazise offer a fascinating old walled town and a beautiful lake. Wander along the flat waterfront promenade, or explore the warren of the town's alleys. Sample plenty of delicious, locally-produced cuisine.
Lazise is positioned on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, tucked between the larger resorts of Bardolino and Peschiera. The small resort is beneath the Morainic hills, and is known for its cultural history and unique character.
Walk into the 12th-century fortress and look around the warren of alleys that give this shipyard town is character. Scaligeri Castle and the Romanesque Church of San Nicolò are both unmissable. Lazise’s name came from the Latin translation for ‘city on the lake', and here you’ll find a few of Lake Garda’s rare sandy beaches.
If you leave the town, you’ll find a range of other things to see and do. Roman villas such as the Villa Pergolana are well worth a visit, or you can relax in the thermal spa in Cola. Alternatively, visit one of the local vineyards and take a walk around the vines. If you’d rather stay put, make your way into the lakeside town’s pedestrianised streets and alleys. You’ll find plenty of great photo opportunities.
A holiday rep will meet you at the airport and give you some information. After that, there won’t a rep based at your resort. However, if you have any questions or concerns, call our 24/7 TUI Service Centre at any time of night or day.
