Historical tours

Needham's Point has several interesting historical sites to explore. Start with The Drill Hall and St Anne's Fort. There's a military cemetery here, and a museum behind the fort. The museum has one of the world's best collections of historical weaponry. Visit the lighthouse

Needham's Point has four lighthouses that guided ships and boats into the harbour for hundreds of years. Today, the lighthouses are popular tourist attractions. The most impressive tower stands at the southern tip of Carlisle Bay, which is just to the eastern side of the beach. It was built in 1855 and is the second-oldest lighthouse on the island.
