Tranquil, flower-filled gardens and a peaceful spa set the tone at the Louros Beach Hotel & Spa.
This place is as pretty as a picture. It’s made up of whitewashed, terracotta-topped buildings, with wrought-iron balconies wrapped in flowers and vines. The gardens are freckled with rose bushes and topiary trees, too.
Kalamaki’s big, sandy beach is just a couple of minutes’ walk away, and there are bars and tavernas a little further on. Plus, Zante Town is within easy reach – just 10 minutes in a taxi.

Fabulous Hotel stayed here 13th -27th sept.Very clean and welcoming by all the lovely staff who all work very hard to make your stay happy.5mins walk to beach 10 mins to the strip of restaurants and bars.Safe 2 euro per night also small fridge big enough to have 3 large bottles in and a small area in the door to store items at the same price 2 euro per night.Purchased both for 2 wks was charged 50 euros.Kettle in the room so take your own tea bags/coffee.We didn't need the air-con at 6 euro per night as we opened the doors to cool the room off before going to sleep.Breakfast was more like continental with bacon /beans occasionally and always boiled eggs. The only downfall to this hotel is the close proximity to the airport which we new before we booked making it very noisy. The local bus service is not reliable.GMT time (greek maybe time!!) We enjoyed the old Kalamaki Rd in the evening.Hotel bar reasonable prices 3 euro pint beer /6 euro short inc mixer which was a good measure(strong!!).Pool kept lovely and clean but a lot of shade round the pool, also the odd selfish persons reserving sun beds. The beach is inaccessible at night from sundown due to the turtles nesting.Walk to Laganas in the evening on the main rd took 35 mins decent footpath most of the way and lit up.The same walk is nice during the day on the beach and carry on a bit further to Agios Sotis Beach about 1hr 15mins altogether.More
Loved it, would return in a heartbeat
Loved the hotel, not much for young children but being so close to the beach we didn't find it an issue, the staff from reception to bar and cleaners could not have been anymore helpful. We will definitely be returning in the near future.More
This is a beautiful hotel and we have already booked to return next year. The staff work so hard and it's kept spotless. Never had a problem getting a sunbed and the jacuzzi is great to relax in. The gardens are well maintained and great to walk around and relaxMore

We stayed at the Louros Beach for the first two weeks of September. Although it was our fifth visit to Kalamaki it was our first time at this hotel and we were not disappointed. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We will be sure to book the Louros Beach next time we visit Kalamaki. Thank you all for a lovely holidayMore
