When you consider India is the 7th-biggest country in the world, it’s no surprise that the weather tends to vary between different areas. While the south is sweltering in tropical temperatures, the north could be wrapping up for snow storms. Goa, on the country’s west coast, basks in balmy weather year-round. Average temperatures hover between 25 and 30°C, and sometimes climb even higher. The one thing you’ll have to watch out for is the rain. Come here during the British winter or spring and you’ll hardly see a drop, but visit in the monsoon season – between June and September – and you’ll definitely need to pack an umbrella.
