FAQs

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to travel?

None of the destinations we offer currently have COVID vaccination requirements – visit the DFA website for details.

What should I do if I become unwell with a contagious illness before my holiday?

If you become unwell before your holiday, you’ll need to inform us and your travel insurance company.

What happens if I test positive for COVID-19 in resort?

If you test positive in your destination before you’re due to return home to Ireland, you’ll need to inform your TUI resort team – via the TUI app or by calling +353 1 699 2201 – if you’re on a package holiday, plus your hotel and your insurance company. You’ll then need to follow the specific procedures in place at your hotel. These vary from destination to destination and may include the need to self-isolate in a medical facility or your hotel room. You also won’t be able to travel home until you’ve had a COVID-19 test that comes back negative. Your hotel team will be there to support you.
