    Once a relaxed 1950s villa, the Meridiana is now a charming, family-run hotel in the middle of Sirmione’s historic old town.

    The hotel’s location is the best of both worlds – quiet but central, so it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the lake and ferry point. It’s got just 21 rooms, so personal service is a real focus.

    Each morning, you can enjoy a continental breakfast in the dining room or out on the patio. The hotel also has a pretty internal courtyard and a lovely rooftop terrace with spectacular views towards the lake. There is a small church on the 1st floor dedicated to Benedetta Bianchi Porro, a religious woman whose beatification was approved in 1975. If you fancy a quick bite to eat, you don't have far to go – the hotel's Bon Ton Bistro* serves delicious, homemade food. Pop in during the afternoon for tea and scones.

    Just so you know, a tourist tax is payable locally in cash. This will be approximately €1 per person, per night.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sirimione and our stay at the Meridiana. It was a great location and so easy to walk around especially in the evening when most of the day visitors had left. Elias and Margaretia were such warm and welcoming hosts and were happy to help us plan places to visit and offer suggestions. Breakfast was perfect and many home made cakes were out each day, very delicious! Our room had a view to the river and we sat out on the balcony a few nights before dinner and enjoyed the views and peace and quiet. It was clean and our beds were extremely comfy, all in all we would absolutely recommend staying at the Meridiana.

    We had the most amazing time at this quaint little hotel , the breakfasts were amazing with beautiful home made cakes daily all made from fresh , beautiful bar where we had nice wines and amazing chocolate , fab balcony in our room and amazing roof top terrace for sun bathing , location was perfect three minute walk to all the restaurants , very friendly warm staff in every department here , totally spoilt whole time we were there and met some lovely other guests too , Thank you Elia and your beautiful wife Margherita for looking after us so well for the week we didn’t want for a thing you both made us feel part of your family ❤️

    We stayed here in late October 2019. We received a lovely warm welcome from the minute we arrived. This is such a friendly place to stay.The location is great. It’s just the right distance from the busier area, lovely & quiet yet close enough to Restaurants etc. The food here was delicious all homemade,the cakes were beautiful. Very clean, the rooms were cleaned every day.All the staff were so helpful. Didn’t want to leave. Would definitely go back & recommend it to anyone. The Young’s from Newcastle room 208

    The hosts were so helpful, with information and places to visit around the area, the waitress could not do enough to make sure we were well looked after, highly recommend a stay at the hotel. great base as there is so many places to visit from here.

    Only 3 nights spent in Sirmione but what an excellent hotel this is, it is nicely situated in the old town and near the great health spa and the young couple that run the hotel provide a wonderful service. You could not ask for friendlier people. They are happy to recommend great places to eat in town, they can explain all the best areas to visit and they offer homemade cakes. The hotel is nice and clean, the air conditioning is excellent and food/drinks are all served by friendly staff I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and wish more hotels offered such a welcoming approach
