A neat surprise and a wonderful stay
I was looking for something low cost adjacent to the Marriott (family there) and landed an amazing end of season all inclusive deal. You will read many complaints about the food boring - let me say this place is massive, and the food choices huge as well. Since it is buffet style, of course you will not get the best if you show up in the 3rd hour. Something for everyone to eat, massive breakfast choices, meats, vegs, salads, pasta, and loads of fruit for lunch and dinner. Large clean rooms, toiletry bag includes toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, comb and body lotion alongside the usual. Stunning view of the beach from the beach front bar but you would have to book to catch sunset over dinner. The waterpark was massive with all levels of slides plus a wave pool. Several pools. Sizeable kids area and many kids activities. Sandy volleyball. Archery, games room etc etc. I could go on and on. Negatives? Stunning view of the sea but rocky beach, plan to hop the free hotel bus to nearby Puerto Banus to watch the wealthy looking over their boats and cars, but also a nice beach many reasonably priced eateries. Also the evening entertainment is light so head to Estepona, Puerto Banus or Marbella close by. Also after midnight you won't be able to get anything to eat or drink so best to stock up. Really though, a lovely hotel, lovely staff trying their best, and lavish meals consistent with the price paid. Would definitely go back there again. Wonderful solarium above the beach bar to lounge and enjoy the view. Adjacent to the Marriott where many tour buses stop (we got one to Morocco on an amazing day trip)More
We went to the globales playa estepona on the 22nd October 2017, me my husband and 3 kids went, hotel was immaculate, so were the rooms, weather was amazing, and was able to get sunbeds every morning without a problem, you don't need to take your own towels, as there all supplied even beach towels for the sunbeds, food was ok, no problems at all with it, staff very friendly and rooms cleaned daily, the splashworld was great we all loved it, entertainment, wasn't the best, and the tui rep wasn't the best for help either,More
GLOBALES PLAYA ESTEPONA
After a 2 hour ride on the bus to all the hotels, we had a great greeting at reception the room was a sea view and overlooking the pool and very clean, the TV only had news channels in English, the food was bad, why put garlic on tomatoes and mushrooms in the morning, evening meal was not good, people changing nappies in the dining room is not very nice, the staff are stressed and rude, we had to queue for drinks at the pool bar and the bar at night as there was only two bar staff at night and one at the pool bar, the pool is not open till ten which is great and there is no shortage of sunbeds, the lift was broken most of the week we will not be going back, when we left we got a taxi which only took 45 mins, it is funny how many kids are there in term time that should be at schoolMore
Fab family holiday for 9
Just back from a family holiday to Globales Playa Estepona, we arrived on the 22nd October, with our 5 children and parents, we had 3 rooms in the Ibiza block, overall very little complaints, the beach restaurant was a big hit but did close before the end of our holiday on the 1st November, as the complex actually shuts then for 6 months, weather was beautiful think we fell very lucky the last few day's we found the shutting down of everything a little frustrating as stated the beach restaurant closed, and no entertainment on the last couple of nights even bingo was cancelled lol, we did pay a good price so this was a little disappointing, I would imagine in high season the restaurant would get very busy the queuing system needs some attention, requested a bed change for one of our children this took 4 days to sort, plus points so very clean, food we all enjoyed teenagers and grand parents all found food to suit, stunning views over the sea, although the beach wasn't great the views certainly made up for it, and having breakfast in the beach restaurant was so lovely, we paid for private transfers after hearing the 2 hour transfer and were very happy with the 50 minutes private transfer, our holiday was slightly complatcated when our 5 year old came down with chicken pox and I had to be sent to another hotel for a few days as he was unable to fly home 🙈But this was not the hotels fault, just bad timing, the rep did relocate us to an adults only hotel and we were unable to stay here but that's another story 🙈🙈 Fab slides, drink and food on tap, clean and very pretty, would we go back oh yes 👍🏽More

Really had a great time last week in this hotel. Overall it was a great experience and well worth going ,my kids all under 10 loved it and so did i. But here are some pointers. Good Amazingly clean hotel. hotel rooms were great. Staff fantastic work so hard, they truely do. Water park slides amazing. enough sun loungers large complementry beachbag and great beach towels provide The food was okay for us vegitarians. They had archery, tennis court, football and basketball and beach volleyball They had a play area with a slide a few swings in a big pit of sand so you can make great san castles. lots of poolsaround the hotel for all ages. Gym is very small but okay less than 10 machines. bad points beach(not hotel fault) big stones next to the sea, there is sand but mixed with stones. you can get a bus for 2.10 euros to marbella whcih has good sandy beaches about 20 mins away. kids club was very poor i thought it would be much better than what it was, be prepared to have to pay for activiteis in the kids club, like t shirt painting. We had temp of between 21C in the morning and 23-24 by midday, the pools were freezing cold wish they had heating would have really enjoyed them then. but the brave kids went in. They dont lock way bags, just leave it in the corner of the reception. if you have evening flight. Cost 21 euros there for 4pm checkout The evening entertainment for the kids was horrible, same! thing every night on a dangerous small stage. very disspointed in this. tips - dont go for ground floor, we had ants in the room, but they staff were great and sprayed room instantly, so no more for the rest of the week. - zoo is great as well - trip on the cable cart - dolphins a day trip - gilbratar worth a trip - there a market on wed 10 mins away. - the shop 5 mins up the road is cheaper than onsite shop for things.More

There's a height restriction for the slides at the waterpark here, little ones need to be at least 120cm tall.
And just so you know this hotel does not accept stag or hen parties.
