An infinity pool with views of the Mediterranean and a beach on tap are just two reasons to stay here.
Location-wise, this hotel is just across from a sandy beach, with shops, bars and restaurants spilling out on the doorstep. And if you want to go further afield, central Fuengirola is a 15-minute walk away.
The pool is the centrepiece – it’s an L-shaped infinity design overlooking the sea. Elsewhere, there’s a buffet restaurant serving up Brit favourites and a lounge bar that hosts dancing.

Young couple had an enjoyable stay.
The Angela is just across the road from the beach. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful from helping us with our bags to answer any questions and queries we had! As a young couple (early/mid 20's) staying at this hotel we did feel slightly out of place as the vast majority of the clientele were much older than ourselves. This was not too much of an issue for us at all, we had a nice relaxing and quiet break but might not be to other younger peoples taste. The entertainment was very much geared up to their clientele with live music and some kind of ballroom dancing most night. The entertainment rooms were lovely and had a high end feel/decor with 2-4-1 on drinks every evening. Some areas of the hotel could do with updating. Rooms were nice enough but did have to pay for the fridge.More
Loved it here. Yes the rooms are a bit out dated but they are very comfortable. They are lovely and clean. The food here is lovely loads to pick from. We enjoyed our stay here. Very close to the beach.More
Will Go Back
Perfect location on the beach. Rooms are small but we had a sunny balcony overlooking the pool and sea. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of food choices. We stayed at the Yarramar before but prefer it here as its smallerMore
5th fantastic stay!
Mum and I have just returned from our 5th visit to the lovely Hotel Angela. We arrived at 11am on Sunday 18th September and much to our delight our room was ready! Very speedy check-in from Reception, all info given such as wi-fi code, pool towels and fridge key (fridge was included as we had booked a superior room). Our room was 526 and we were thrilled with it. The view is fantastic! Also, as it got the morning sun it was not too hot in the room at night. Air con was great, very quiet which is a bonus, tv with the standard BBC and ITV and a kettle with tea/coffee etc. Very clean and tidy with comfy beds.....what more do you want :) Pool area is lovely with plenty of space for everyone. No need to queue at 9am, loads of loungers left at 11am and later. Pool boy around to assist with umbrellas and exchange pool towels, although we did not see him remove belongings from reserved loungers as stated. Much enjoyed happy hour by the pool, 2 sangria for €3.30 is a bargain. Food in the main restaurant is generally very good. Loads of choice, sometimes a bit strange combinations but soups are fab and the salad bar is fantastic. We did swap to Marina Bay one evening for a change and this was a lovely experience. As usual the entertainment can be a bit hit and miss although we generally enjoyed it. George was the stand-out again.....what a voice! The show starts at 9.30pm in the downstairs room, happy hour from 9-11. Bingo first, but please be aware that the prize is vouchers for the hotel. We knew this and are fine with it, but some people were unhappy. People at the hotel are very friendly and happy to chat. Yes it is an older crowd but that does not bother me. No noisy hen and stags, or yelling children here thank goodness. Finally, I must mention the staff. Our stays at the Angela are made all the more memorable because of them. They truly are special and huge thanks to them for everything :) Special mentions must go to William for making our stay so great, Fali, Maria and Conchi for being so kind to Mum and I (and Maria for her wine recommendations). Once again Bego looked after me in the Pool Bar, and Enrique in the lounge and entertainment bar was lovely! Mum is in a wheelchair and everyone helped me open doors and held lifts, found tables in the restaurant and moved chairs. Your staff are amazing, and its due to them that we keep returning! Thank you Hotel Angela for a wonderful 14 days, and we'll see you in May 2018. Joanne and Gloria xxxxMore
Just back from another brilliant week
Had another fantastic week at the Angela, our room was the best we have ever had there, the food seemed to be even better, the entertainment was better this year, not sure about the changes in the main lounge regarding happy hour, maybe I'm anti change! Toni is still the top man behind the bar though! NO COMPAINTS Already booked to go again in May 2018, don't think from that, we only go to the Angela, I have reviewed several other hotels this year, this is the bestMore
