    The Riu Festival Hotel has bagged an out-of the-way spot just down the road from one of Majorca’s most popular beaches – the Playa de Palma.

    At the Riu Festival Hotel, you’re only five minutes’ walk from a three-mile sweep of sand. It’s on the outskirts of Palma, but close enough that a 15-minute cab ride will land you in the city centre.

    This place is a one-stop shop for relaxing. It’s got a pool with its own snack bar, plus a buffet restaurant. It's all set in private, neatly-clipped gardens.

    Had and absolutely amazing stay at the Roy festival the staff are excellent and very attentive to us throughout our stay. There was a fantastic selection of food and somthing for everyone. The pool is nice and the bar staff are helpful. This hotel is in a fantastic location close to the airport so transfer times are only 10mins and only a 15 min bus ride on the palma express number 25. The TUI office is a 5 minute walk and was very helpful as we was able to book our excisions in there. The beach is only a 5 minute Which is fantastic. Would highly recommend the island tour with the train to sollier. On the whole fantastic hotel fantastic staff and would highly recommend visiting this hotel and this part of Majorca .

    just came back from a week in the rui festival. hotel is spotless and food was really nice, different variety of food to cater all. so close to the beach which was what we wanted and only 5 minutes from airport. pool area was really lovely and plenty of sunbeds. we hadn't been to majorca before but was told at the hotel it is a german based hotel and all the shops and bars are for the german clientele. we only had 4 English people in our hotel and the entertainment was all german. but everything else was perfect. could not fault it at all.

    we have just returned today from a week here the hotel is amazing as are the staff the cleanliness is second to none the staff can not do enough for what ever time of day or night what our travel agent did not tell us this hotel is in the German quarter there was only 8 English couples there. the reps are also German and were not the least bit intreated in us. im not trying to cause any trouble but just to let you know of this before you book we made our fun and it was an amazing holiday

    Really loved our stay here, the service was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean & being just a short walk from the beach, the hotel is situated close to local amenities and nightlife - it is also just a short bus journey in to the centre of Palma with the bus fair being only €1.50 so very easy to go there for a day out or two during your visit. It would have been nice to have more choices of vegan options at meal times, (vegan butter would have especially been appreciated) however, that said the food we did have was still very tasty and was set out in a buffet style with everything well labelled so it was easy to select what we wanted. Overall would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay with Riu in future!

    We had an excellent stay at the Riu Festival hotel in Playa de Palma. Nice and modern room, enough space around the pool (the pictures we saw before booking this hotel, made me worry this wasn’t the case), restaurant with terrace (we could sit outside every morning and evening without having to wait), varied buffets and, what we noticed the most, every single member of the staff was super friendly. Just the way it should be! If I have to give one remark: I broke a little perfume bottle and cleaned up de biggest parts myself but the small shards lay on the bathroom floor the rest of our stay (3-4 days). A little more thorough cleaning wouldn’t hurt. In short, we enjoyed every minute of our trip and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday. Good value for money guaranteed!
