Holidays to Corralejo offer an energetic mix of activities and a choice of different vibes. This lively town is famous for its white-sand beaches, gentle shallows, beachside restaurants, and watersports.
Corralejo is one of Fuerteventura’s top destinations, and with good reason. The area boasts a wide range of experiences and atmospheres, and has everything you need to stay entertained and pampered throughout your visit. With some of the best surfing spots in Europe, a bubbly nightlife, great shops and markets, and a variety of quiet coves and secluded beaches, you're sure to find something suited to your tastes.
Corralejo is blessed with an impressive collection of white sand beaches, each with their own charms. Town Beach sits right next to the harbour, and boasts an impressive selection of bars and restaurants by the water. Alternatively, Galeria Beach is known for its stylish bars and beachside clubs. Playa del Moro offers long stretches of secluded sand and calm water. Sitting to the south of the town, Flag Beach is famous for its windsurfing scene, drawing watersports enthusiasts from all over the world to its sandy shores.
Lobos is a small, uninhabited island, emerging from the Atlantic just north of Corralejo. As an untouched volcanic outcrop, the ecosystem here is thriving. There are over 130 plant species, as well as several types of sea bird, and the unusual geology is well worth a visit. You can even snorkel in the waters around the island for some extra-special underwater views. Less than a twenty-minute boat ride from Corralejo, and with boats departing from the harbour all through the day, this unique day-trip is as easy as it is interesting.
