Value for money
My wife and I stayed for a week at the end of October in room 534 which is on the third floor at the rear of the Hotel. The room was modern and for the price paid we thought it was excellent value for money. I think the rooms have been modernised recently, the bed and pillows were very comfortable unlike quite a lot of resort hotels I have stayed in. I usually try to stay at the front of a hotel but I didn’t on this occasion because the rear of the hotel on the entrance side has really nice views of the mountains and is not near a busy road. We found the balcony a nice place to sit out. The pool area is really nice too and this hotel is one of the best I have stayed at for having a good ratio of guests to sun beds. The hotel is well positioned too being close to the beachfront walks and close to Playa Blanca town centre. We stayed half board, switching from opting to switching to lunch so we could eat out occasionally. Obviously the hotel was busy in half term week and understandably the restaurant and pool bar got busy at times. Plays Blanca is best suited to families and couples and anyone who does not like the more rowdy type of resorts as it is laid back and peaceful resort. I would stay at this hotel again without any hesitation and I think it was good value - well done H10 and the management and staff. John & Barbara McDonald Liverpool More

Visited this hotel in october, as seasoned h10 priveledge club members,so was expecting the usual high h10 club standards, what a let down,on arrival no one on the priveledge desk, had to queue along with everyone else,no one to offer a welcome drink, help yourself,no porter, find your own way.not happy with room, asked to be re located, told to come back the next morning, did,nt unpack, went back at 10.30am ,asked to bring cases down and leave mobile numbers so that when the room was ready after 12 they would ring ,did,nt happen, hanging around for 4hrs before having to go up to ask about the room, was told it was ready but not given the option to have a look at it ,no welcome gift ,empty mini bar which should have been full, room no different from half board/all inclusive guests,in fact the only difference from all inclusive guest was the priveledge bar (which was,nt up to the usual standard) and the la carta restaraunt which the all inclusive guests were entitled to one free visit per stay ,and because of this got busy.the restaraunt was a canteen noisy with repetitive not very well cooked food, even the chef was from Preston,no twice a day/ turn down service, chocolates when available were melting maid, shower packed up twice ,I could go on,if you look at my previous reviews this is out of character, but bear in mind we paid an awful lot more than all inclusive as priveledge guests, and they virtually had the same values, this is the Ist time I can say I would not stay at this h10 in particular again,my personnel advice,Don't Go Priveledge.More

Weather was great 26-30C Hotel was excelent...rooms big enough... nicely decorated... clean.Food wide choice there is something for everyone.Plenty of activities day and night.Easy reach of shops and beaches. This was our fourth stay will stay yet again.More
The evening meals are very disappointing. Beware of undercooked chicken and fish and over cooked "tough as old boots" meat. We have stayed in numerous 4* hotels over the years and the food here is the worst. There appears to be plenty of choice but most of it is not cooked properly, cold and bland. The breakfasts are O. K. but the pre-cooked food is not very good. They blend smoothies but unfortunately I saw the chef add a few scoops of white sugar!!! Apart from the food the hotel is clean, the decor is modern and the rooms are well appointed. The beds are very comfortable too.The in house entertainment is good and overall the staff are helpful . The covered pool and area are excellent. The outdoor pool area needs a clean and the loungers have seen better days. We were not all inclusive and the small plastic bottles of unchilled water are €2.The coffees are over priced, luke warm and the glasses in which they serve them only hold about 6 mouthfuls. More
Great Hotel, Great Weather, Poor Food
Just returned home from a weeks holiday, had a very nice room, big walk in shower, comfortable bed, room cleaned daily. Hotel was spotless. We found the food to be not of a good standard mostly under cooked. A lot of the food was only lukewarm I would have thought the manager would have kept an eye on the food & tried some of it. All the staff were very friendly. We did not like waiting in line with the half boarders as we were AI at dinner time . Lovely snack bar by the pool. All bottle water is free to Al. Large pool cold water, small heated pool. No problem with sun beds but you still get the same old gang reserving them this should be sorted out by the life guard. Not a lot to do around the pool especially in the afternoon, overall we had a good holiday shame about the food or would have had a returned visit.
