With its plum sea-and-mountain setting, the Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife showcases this Canary Island at its best.
Views don’t come much better than this hotel, with volcanic slopes to the rear and sea views to the front. And location-wise, you’ve got a little beach on the doorstep and Costa Adeje is a 20-minute stroll away.
The hotel’s curved design means lots of the rooms look out to sea.

A well oiled machine
We stayed here in November and found the staff and the amenities first class. It ran like a well oiled machine. All the staff were cheerful and treated the holidaymakers with respect and cheerfulness. The food was superb and varied and the rooms were very clean.More
Last Minute Holiday
Booked a week in advance not a lot of choice left with TUI or other company’s for that matter. Nice hotel five stars, mmmm not quite just a few negatives. Room booked said limited sea view, yes you could just see the sea if you were laying on your stomach in the grass outside your terrace, enquiries about a change of room which they did accommodate the following day, no sea only trees!! Returned to original room. Housekeeping trolley’s wake you up at approx 7am every morning which is ok as you need to get up then to get a sun-bed before our friendly Europeans beat us to it!!! Don’t eat in the Krystal restaurant unless you want to be rushed through every course. Positives are Hotel in nice area of Tenerife with lovely walks in either direction. Bedrooms nice and big, housekeeping is second to none, pool area immaculate as are gardens. Staff friendly enough. Would we return think not, will try other five star hotels first.More
Excellent relaxing week
Returned from a weeks stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything about our stay was excellent. Rooms were spacious with lovely balconies and modern well equipped bathrooms. Food was varied and of good quality. Grounds well looked after & everywhere was wonderfully clean. We had one small problem with the bathroom but this was sorted out by reception and even the manager paid us a visit. Customer service of the best standard. The evening entertainment was of an excellent standard even though it was music based every evening. Would definitely return .More
A second wonderful holiday
This is our second visit to the Rui Palace and once again cannot find fault. Great food, friendly staff, lovely room, great pool area-all in all a wonderful and relaxing holiday. When we last stayed here in 2015 I said that the entertainment was the only downside - that had been vastly improved and each night we stayed in the hotel and enjoyed the resident band and the various other artists. Only one complaint (and this had nothing to do with the hotel)- why do the smokers get all the best seats? Or in other words, when oh when will smoking be banned in all public areas and not just indoor ones. It is so unpleasant when you find yourself a nice seat with a great view and then a couple of chain smokers arrive at the next table and stink you out so badly that you have to move indoors. Hey ho that's my gripe for the year. Thanks again to the management and staff at the Rui Palace for a wonderful holiday. More
Very beautiful, clean, very very nice staff.
The rooms are great, good shower, balcony, and very quiet. The staff was very friendly, very helpfull, and all the staff looked like one happy family. This was not played for the tourists but you can see how they interact with each other. They liked the little children, they helped the elderly. The buffet was great, breakfast and dinerwas very good. If you can try the Cristal restaurant an fusionrestaurant with very tastefull food. you have to make a reservation , but its instead of the eveningdiner.More
