There are only a few hotels in Las Caletillas, giving it an intimate feel. Nearby, there's Candelaria, which has a waterfront studded with restaurants if you fancy being a little more social.

And in an hour, you can be exploring the dramatic terrain of the world-famous Teide National Park.
