Out of town!
Looked forward to this holiday in what is supposed to be a 4*hotel. Stayed in room 62 which was a good climb up a few flights of stairs. There are no lifts to use even for your luggage so would advise some time in the gym before you go. Rooms are fair sized and reasonably equipped but are looking a little worse for wear particularly the bathroom (mouldy grout and mastic). Cracked floor tiles too. Kitchen area whilst well equipped also had an ant issue. Beds are rock hard too. Cannot complain about the staff who were very pleasant and hard working. Food was passable although if you do not like garlic you will struggle as it is on just about everything including mushrooms served for breakfast! Whether you opt for all inclusive or not, the shutters come down on the bars at precisely 23.00 and no option to even purchase drink after this time. There are no "local" bars with the closest being located a minimum 20 mins walk away. Generally if you wish to visit closest town(s) be prepared for a long hike and as the hotel is on the outskirts of town it is a long hike back and all up hill.More
What a BEAUTIFUL Experience
The first thing that happened when we entered the reception was a blue wristband was placed on out wrists with the words "Be Happy" on it .....And that is just what we were from the minute we stepped in to such a warm friendly genuine venue and that didn't change during the whole of or staff. The team are amazing from the cleaner to the manager.....Just what is needed when you have just arrived from cold robotic London Mid October, i felt like i was in heaven lol Nothing was too much trouble. Bar staff very friendly , rooms kept clean when requested, and left alone if a request hasn't been made Taxi service from the hotel great too. I seriously didn't want to leave there and will be heading back taking more family with me as it really is too great it would be rude not to share it with whoever you know that needs some fun , friendliness, and perfection in their life .....! Pepe and Lydia.....You two rock especially Pepe with his Glasgow accent , its fab and so warm and friendly. Gabby, Renate, and Danni....WELL what can i say , you made me so comfortable that i made a fool of myself on Hypnotist night , something i would never have agreed to had i not felt so at ease. It was lovely t be able see see the kids having fun and laughing during their mini disco ( Braidan my 17 year old is still singing the songs and doing the actions ) Also very nice to meet a warm friendly couple of regulars from Sweden who love the place so much there have spent 18 years indulging and even own their own space at the resort . i am a little envious lol . Kitchen Staff ... Thank you for helping me experience 7 different world foods during the week with you, I have deffo over eaten , but hey it would be rude not too when the food is so delicious... We didnt want for anything , all inclusive is most definately worth every penny . All in all thank you Gran Oasis and team , for giving us so much more than we imaginged, and to those who felt the need to put this place down over minor issues i am so glad i didnt let the little gripes, put me off... See you next years guys P.S i still have my BE HAPPY band on as a reminder .... More

My new husband and I have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Gran Oasis. What a hotel!! We have stayed in many places around the world and this was Definetely in our top 3! First of all our room! Wow, absolutely stunning and spotless. Arrived to lovely flower arrangements on the bed, stairs and units. Massive Samsung tv in living area with plenty British films programmes etc. Bedroom downstairs was massive with loads of cupboard space. Mattress was topped with really thick memory foam topper which was a dream to sleep in!! Outside on the terrace was a beautiful balenese bed which looked out onto the golf course. Even got a bottle of prosecco kept chilled for us in the fridge!! Our room was cleaned every day and new fresh flowers were put in. The restaurant, food was to die for! Each night a different theme and I loved every night. Lots to choose from and something for everyone. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all great. Snacks were served by the pool through the day, hot dogs, burgers, pizza sandwiches and again very tasty! The pools were very busy with children but not a bother as there was a small pool that the children played about in. Just want to thank the staff at the Gran Oasis as honestly I've never seen such a happier bunch of people. Everyone of them smiling and will always say hello when you pass. There job is not easy but nothing was too much for them they made everyone feel wanted and appreciated!! Thank you so so much for giving us a great honeymoon and we will see you next year as our son is desperate to come along!! Mr & Mrs Sumner x More
The staff at the hotel are really friendly, helpful and polite. All the facilities are clean and well kept. They have a shuttle which picks you up at set times and drops to set locations-We would have liked there to be more times but it wasn't the end of the world as cabs are cheap. We chose to go half board as we knew we would be out a lot and because of this, the waiters would practically follow you around to make sure you wasn't getting any drinks (which aren't included-you only get water which was a bit stingy!). Food wasn't fantastic but it was expected as most abroad places are the same! Other than this, we would definitely come back!More
Best holiday ever
My family and I have just returned from one of our favourite holidays ever. We loved it from the moment we arrived. We have two boys, one is 12 and the other is 4 years old. They love to swim so the pool was there main focus. Previous holidays I have been so on edge worrying about children running around the pools and slipping on the tiled floors when wet. But the gran oasis pools are surrounded by false grass which makes it so safe for the little ones. There was always plenty of sun loungers with ample parasols. And cleanliness was second to none. It was spotless, everywhere I've never known a cleaner hotel. Now for the staff. They made our holiday special, every member of staff were amazing A few who's names I managed to get were pepe from Glasgow who worked on reception, he made us feel so welcome. There was Luis who was an outstanding host. The entertainment staff were brilliant they tried to get every child involved. Only one small gripe was they played competitions with the children each day and on an evening the winners would get presented with a certificate. it was all ages who competed so every time the older children would win. The smaller children didn't stand a chance of winning. The beds here are the most comfortable I have ever stayed in in an all inclusive hotel and the rooms were beautiful. English channels on TV were a treat aswell. The food in the restaurant I felt was sometimes a little poor quality but there was always something you could eat the choice was great, with a different theme every night. We will definitely return hopefully with a lot more family members with us. More
