Best time to go to St Lucia

St Lucia’s tropical climate makes it a prime spot for year-round sunshine and warm weather. Between December and April the mercury regularly hits 30 degrees, but constant trade winds keep it nice and breezy. Hurricane season is from June to November, so you can expect the odd bout of rainfall but big storms are pretty rare. You can also expect high levels of humidity throughout the year, with June to August being especially high. We would advise you to leave windows and balcony doors closed as much as possible to make the most of the air-con and reduce humidity levels hotel rooms. And while we’re on the subject of hotels, you may find that some facilities, such as restaurants and bars, aren’t available from late April to May and from mid-August to mid-November, but there’ll be enough open so you can still enjoy your stay.
