About Larnaca Area
Flights to the Larnaca region bring you up close and personal with Blue Flag beaches, pumping nightclubs and family-friendly attractions. This destination has two different holiday faces to it – the party side and the family side. Starting with the former, Ayia Napa tops the list. It’s home to big-name bars and themed clubs turning out tunes until the early hours. During the day, nearby Nissi Beach hosts foam and beach parties on its vanilla-coloured sands. Travel to neighbouring Protaras, meanwhile, and it’s a different story. It’s the proud owner of one of the best beaches in Cyprus. Fig Tree Bay is perfect for paddling youngsters, with shallow, see-through waters. And there’s a real pick ‘n’ mix of hotels to choose from in these parts, including family favourites and retreats for adults. This place doesn’t go down quietly, though. Its centre is packed with karaoke bars, shops and restaurants serving Italian, Greek, Asian and British food. And there are tonnes of child-friendly activities, like waterparks, an aquarium, and a fountain show. Or you can hit the Konnos Nature Trail, which’ll lead you past charming villages, secluded coves, and the iconic Chapel of Profitis Elias. There’s also the city of Larnaca, which the region is named after. Its swanky yacht-filled marina has a good supply of bars and restaurants, while Finikoudes Beach provides the sand. We offer cheap flights to Larnaca International Airport, flying direct from London Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham – to name just a few.
